Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) won't join President Obama when he visits St. Louis on Tuesday, prompting claims by Republicans that she is avoiding an appearance with the president, whose poll numbers are under water in Missouri.
An aide to McCaskill told The Hill she had hoped to be there, but that competing events scheduled for the senator and likely votes in Senate on Tuesday precluded her from returning to Missouri. The aide added that McCaskill hopes the timing will work out better in the future.
But Missouri Republicans have pointed to a more cynical reason for the first-term senator to stay in Washington: McCaskill's GOP opponents already have their video cameras fired up to capture footage of her appearing chummy with Obama. That footage will inevitably end up in campaign ads tying her to the president, in hopes that his reelection struggles might complicate her own.

I don’t see how she runs away from him. She was one of his early, enthusiastic supporters.
The Dems may just want to tie a bell abound his neck and call out “UNLEAN, UNCLEAN” when he visits their region.
She was the first senator to come out and support Obama for the Rat nomination. She is as sleazy as they come.
Old Claire would be there if Obama’s poll numbers were high. She’s barely hanging on by her fingernails now. She knows appearing with Obama would be political suicide at this point.

McCaskill cried in sympathy when she heard Obama’s speeches, according to her daughter. Claire also wanted to be his V-P.
Since he wasn’t eligible, she and Tom Coburn declared McCain eligible in SR 511 and Obama was included in a “whereas others thought not eligible were in fact eligible.” That was a lie.
Claire, Coburn, Hillary and Obama were on that Senate Judiciary Committee in 2008. Hillary thought she had the nomination sewed up, but Dean and Pelosi forced many of her delegates to illegally switch at the convention. THAT’S HOW OBAMA GOT ON THE TICKET!! It was no coincidence!!! That is why McCaskill is running from Obama.
I wrote both McCaskill and Coburn asking them to call a news conference, apologize, and tell the world that Obama was not eligible!! I hope both spend time in prison following the next election. They are traitors.
