NEW YORK -- Bank of America still isn't explaining why online banking may be slow for some of its customers for a sixth day in a row.
A message on the bank's home page Wednesday said most of the site was working normally, but that customers may experience "occasional delays."
A spokeswoman for Bank of America Corp., Tara Burke, says the company doesn't disclose the causes for website problems and noted that online banking was now available.
She declined to say how many customers may still be experiencing slowness signing in.

For a wide variety of reasons, I will never do business with BoA again!
I bet for five bucks a month (or free if you’re an illegal alien) they’ll let you into the high-bandwidth channel. :-)

Anonymouse?
If I were cynical I might conclude that someone (::cough::) is trying to cause a run on the banks.
Could there be a coordinated cyber-attack on the Bank of America websites? ChiCom’s or even a test from one of Obama’s rogue agencies?
I would bet on a DOS attack, even though BofA is denying it.
They’re going to have to fess up and give some details out if this isn’t resolved in the next few days.

That would require good customer service—HA! One of the largest banks in our region (TD North) kept silent for almost 2 weeks after an in-house computer problem prevented automatic deposits from being automatically deposited. And they NEVER offered to compensate customers for outside fees which were incurred; all they did was (finally) take care of fees TD Bank had assessed on customers. One of the worst examples of customer non-service I’ve seen. So I don’t expect much better from BoA, especially in light of their $5/mo fee to customers for using their debit card
My online B of A account is useless at this point.
They are now taking 5 days to post simple ATM Transactions.
The DOD needs to hunt the DDOS guys down and water board them at Gitmo.
I can access it without any problems using Firefox, but not Safari.
I’ve had it with the “too big to fail” BofA. I’m pulling all four of my accounts and switching to another bank. Buffett’s stock purchase a few weeks ago was almost enough of a reason, but this multiple day on-line outage was the final straw.
I have no problem.. I logged on today with no problems....I guess BoA makes things difficult for people that don’t have any money banked with them....I have none of the fees that have been logged thus far.
