CNN ^

(CNN) – If you're dissatisfied with the economy, or unemployed, Herman Cain thinks you should take a long, hard look in the mirror.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal posted Wednesday, the up-and-coming GOP 2012 contender and former CEO of Godfather's Pizza summed up his bewilderment about recent demonstrations on Wall Street.

Those who voted for the moron brought this on every American. I believe this is a sound bite Cain would modify, I will vote for him if nominated.

“I don’t understand these demonstrations and what is it that they’re looking for”

...they don’t know either Mr Cain. I love this guy though. You can rest assured that every other GOP candidate would have some excuse for these idiots to storm Wall Street and they’d stammer out some reasoning behind it. This guy tells it like it is!!

No but I do think its very HEARTLESS!

I know for a fact my parents were anything but heartless, and what Cain said is just what they taught me.

The majority of the “people” in the Wall Street Mob are college kids.

I would be money that they are liberal college kids AND young adults who moved to NYC and found that you can't survive the costs without help from Mommy and Daddy.

I've known young professionals in NYC, and it's so hard to have clubbing money with those rents, even when you make $50k/yr. I can only imagine what the liberal arts types do.

Liberals disagree.

They say it’s solely Obama’s fault.

I like him too, but am still befuddled why he abandoned the FairTax for his 999 plan....Do you know and if so, can you send me a link to a presser that would explain it?

Well said Mr. Cain, very well said. More conservatives need to call out these lazy, selfish vermin camping out in our city parks.

Why he missed a chance to explain Obama, Reid and Pelosi’s devastation visited on the American Economy by their policies, I can’t figure.

Personal blame is only a piece of the puzzle, not the puzzle. This economy is slowly collapsing when it comes to job creation.

I thought conservatives were primed to explain that. Rush would have delivered himself of a devastatingly accurate critique of extreme Liberalism and Obama’s attempt to end America as we know it.

I’m sorry, but I agree with your comment, not those who have slammed your comment; not the word simpleminded, but the comment was way too narrow and gives our job destroying opponents a pass.

I hope Cain went on to explain what Rush would have explained, but if this is all he said...

No, it's the truth. And it's about damn time somebody said it.

Yes I agree, we have become a society obsessed with the losers and whiners. We all have lost a jobs here, even one in a bad economy and cried in a our beer a little. These parasites take it to another level. They whine about 99 weeks of UI is not enough and how they can't make their house payment. That all of us should be responsible to support them in a lifestyle you have become accustomed. That you should expect copious benefits, have your house payments suspended, receive free job training. Even some Freepers come here and whne about being unemployed for 2 years, 2 YEARS. As my Dad(R.I.P.) used to say, "Get off your as* and do something, activity breeds attitude". Anyone who is unemployed that long is one of three things, lazy, too proud, or sick. And we can understand #3.

Give um Hell Cain, sick of listening to this meme

Exactly, why can’t the pubbies get their act together and have the primaries on one day? I think it has something to do with the party elites losing control!

In one way I see it, but in another way if they put them all to close together and push them up early a person like Herman Cain wouldn’t have a chance against a elites choice Like Mitt because he wouldn’t have time to catch fire.

This might imply that with sufficient effort, everybody could be a Bill Gates, at the same time. In fact why can’t we blame Mr. Cain, rich as he is, for not being Bill Gates?

One has to be careful not to equate financial status with personal worth or even personal usefulness. St. Paul himself penned the words, under the inspiration of God, that he knew how to abound and how to be in want — he could nonetheless do “all things” through the power of Christ.
