‘Economic terrorist’ Behind Wall Street protests? Radical’s plan: ‘Bring down stock market’ ‘Literally cause a new financial crisis’.

Stephen Lerner, a controversial anti-Capitalist SEIU organizer, is one of the forces behind the protests on Wall Street and nationwide, according to quotes obtained by a socialist activist who doubles as a Washington Post columnist.

KleinOnline was first to report, Lerner was the brainchild of some of the economic protest templates being used by the Occupy Wall Street campaign.

Lerner recently laid out a mass economic protest plan intended to bring down the stock market. Lerner boasted his plan could be used to cause a new financial crisis. Lerner’s ideology prompted some conservative critics to go so far as to label him an economic terrorist.

Writing in the Washington Post on Tuesday, columnist Harold Meyerson, Vice-Chair of Democratic Socialists of America, quoted Lerner describing how a coalition of various groups are fomenting the current economic protests.

Lerner described himself as part of those groups, referring to the organizations behind the demonstrations as “we.”

I can help Obama in one sense.

Executive Directive 51.

The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive (National Security Presidential Directive NSPD 51/Homeland Security Presidential Directive HSPD-20, sometimes called simply “Executive Directive 51” for short), created and signed by United States President George W. Bush on May 4, 2007, is a Presidential Directive which claims power to execute procedures for continuity of the federal government in the event of a “catastrophic emergency”. Such an emergency is construed as “any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.”

Note that it allows for the POTUS to execute “continuity procedures” in the event of a “catastrophic emergency”, said emergency being defined as “any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of.....DISRUPTION SEVERELY AFFECTING THE.....ECONOMY”. Sorry for the caps, but that’s only for emphasis.

Here’s the money shot, again from Wikipedia: The presidential directive says that, when the president considers an emergency to have occurred, an “Enduring Constitutional Government” comprising “a cooperative effort among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the Federal Government, coordinated by the President,” will take the place of the nation’s regular government.

I’m sure it was more people than just VP Cheney that dreamed up this one....more likely a working group.

Notice how it gives everyone a little “skin in the game”; executive, legislative, and judicial branches.

Everyone, that is, except the people. Ominous to me is that it is quite open-ended; the POTUS declares the emergency, then the POTUS, and the POTUS alone, decides when it’s over.

Kind of like a modern-day Enabling Act.

In my opinion this is all about the Obama Administration diverting attention away from Obama’s failures....blame game on the march. Focus the nations people on these idiotic protests and all the misfits joining it to take on Wall Street and Corporate America. While Obama goes on the road campaigning how wonderful he is and how the Banks and Companys have abandoned the American worker.

Never mind that without Banks and Coporations working together there’d be no jobs.

That is kind of ominous. But if they think they can enforce Martial Law right now, after what we have just witnessed coming out of DC, they are not even coherent. They would need millions of troops to enforce that. My guess is they want a civil war which would allow the herd to be thinned with little effort on their part. Either that or they are going to allow a massive attack on the US. Think 911 with nukes. No other logical reason to allow Iran to go nuclear, while you also turn Pakistan into an enemy over stupid drone strikes.
