For those who care to see Sarah Palin in the race for president, a closed group was started to work towards encouraging her to reconsider.

Some are still in denial. To them she's some type of Joan D'Arc who could never do anything self-serving, and everything she did was for the good of America. Unless it's quitting things "for her family." She is not a politician. She is the purist of the pure, who is "not for sale" - unless of course you're a reality show, a book publisher, Fox News, SarahPac or you have an event where you could pay her huge speaking fees.

I see a Perry cultist has checked in with his brainless, media generated, hyperbole.

If you were inclined to be objective you would have noticed that Palin has turned down all reality shows, written no book and made few paid speeches in 2011. Her Fox TV contract and the money she received for her recordings for the movie were all signed off on before 2011. Her PAC was used mostly for other candidates and one small, stinking, not very luxurious bus tour. If Palin was inclined to make a buck off of the possibility that she would run, her money making behavior in 2011 would have been different.

Your observations are one of a propaganda soaked Perry bot.

Why do you really care that these folks want to draft Palin? How does it effect you? It doesn't necessarily mean that they think Palin is Joan of Arc.

I think if these folks could draft Palin before all of the deadlines that would be a good thing, especially when one considers the quality of our current candidate.

Will it work?

I doubt it, but so what?

If your boy is so good this would have no effect on your precious, inarticulate, ill prepared, illegal-alien-loving, part-time candidate.

Never ceases to amaze me how oblivious the Palin cynics can be to facts. And here I thought the whole purpose of cynicism was to achieve truth through objectivity. When attempting to see inside her soul and divine her secret motives, did either of you factor in her rejection of a second season of her Alaska show? An easy 10 million if she took it. But no. She turned it down so she could continue being available for the race, and all the abuse associated with it, up to and including credible threats to herself and her family. This she did, thinking foolishly that the non-political class, her true base, would get it. Instead, she gives up all that easy cash, puts herself and her family on the line, and all she gets is this lousy jilted lover post.

Bravo. Well said and right on target.

Nice post. We are getting some really cute money posts from supporters of a governor who is getting a full check for doing a part time job. (and has been for a while)

You want her to go against her prayerful consideration? How selfish of you.

I say get behind Cain and see what happens...

I say hold Cain's feet to the fire and maybe he will come to a better understanding of foreign policy, the Second Amendment and why a new sales tax isn't a good thing.

I say it's carrot an stick time for our crop of borderline candidates.

I think the hardcore Sarah supporters are going through what a number of Green Bay Packer fans did the past couple years with Brett Favre.

People attributed all sorts of super human traits to the guy. Then they learned he is a prima donna who as a married man sends cell phone pictures of his crotch to cheerleaders. Great player. Lots of things to admire about him. But he has more than his share of human weaknesses.

This is going to take time for the Palin supporters to process and in the end form an opinion of her that isn’t necessarily negative, just more realistic as to her strengths and weaknesses.

I still believe very firmly that Palin is the best person for the job.

With the guidance of the Lord, she is the only one who decides whether to run or not.

Just my humble, personal opinion but I think the looooonnng time she took to make her decision (NOT the decision itself) has finished her for elective office.

She may have some conservative influence, great, I hope she can make a difference. But, her opinion of herself is a little over-rated, at this point.

My prediction: a book in the next year explaining her inner struggle to come to this difficult decision. (and to coincidently, inject money into her banking account)

I sure wish Rebecca Mansoor would write a book about her time working with the Palins. She’s a writer, could be interesting. She is one person whose story I would believe.

Also, keep your eye on where Jason Recher goes from here. He is the ONE reason I kept believing that Sarah would run. I wonder if he goes to another campaign, he’s the best in the business.

My first requirement to someone being a candidate is that they WANT to be a candidate. Sarah does not want it. That may be a romantic sign that she's perfect, but in practical terms it doesn't make sense. We need someone driven and compelled to endure the hell a campaign brings. Maybe Sarah has had enough, and I completely sympathize with her.

I pray that she finds happiness and peace in her decision.

What the hell kind of thuggery is this - she has no choice?! It’s really upsetting to see some of her supporters behave this way.

Your post #24 suggests that Sarah is not a good mother, I find that offensive! I do not care how many dvd`s you purchased, does not give you the right to trash Sarah.

She never used us, and you ask what have you got to show for it? For starters control of the House of Representatives, that is no small thing.

She has done a tremendous good for the country and deserves all of our respect.

Great! I just got on here but haven’t had a chance to read the comments since last night. I see there are the usual suspects who can’t control themselves whenever a Palin thread is posted. I will ignore the negative posts and only respond to solution/results oriented posts.

To all; this project isn’t only about getting Sarah Palin into the race but it is also about showing our support for her and the movement we are all proud to be a part of. If you are one who doesn’t support our/Palin’s work, then go support whatever cause or candidate you believe in but leave us alone because we don’t have time for your negativity.

Just so you all are aware, I ran this past Jim Robinson for his approval before posting it here on FreeRepublic. I’m not claiming he is endorsing our efforts only that he is aware of it. Thanks to all who choose to get involved!

One of the exercises we are undertaking is to simply send a postcard of support to Sarah.

Copied and pasted from the website;

Postcard Campaign. All that needs to be said is WE ARE THE EARTHQUAKE!

Do the kids have a father?

Or do dads have the luxury of getting all the credit but none of the blame? How about Patty Davis & Ron Reagan Jr? Whose fault are they? Dad or mom?

Al Gores kid - the one with the drug problem. Tipper or Al?

The Bush twins? The college partier who embarrassed her dad. Laura or Georges fault?

Chelsea stumbling into a limousine drunk? Bill or Hillary? who gets that blame.

The Palin kids have no bearing on governance. Obamas kids are angels. How’s he working out for us?
