It should be clear by now to all, even to the most ardent ‘Cainiac’ that the polls show that Cain can not win. And if Cain is the conservative he claims to be and not a stalking horse for Romney he needs to pull out of the race and endorse Perry.

I actually like Cain, but I think his 999 plan will sink him in the end. As Bachmann pointed out, the devil is in the details.

Having said that, I do think that Perry is probably finished at this point, barring a massive flip flop on his immigration position and a hard right shift on this issue, I don't know how he can recover at this point.

Gingrich will be the next man in line as the anti-Romney candidate.
