Clinton: U.S. must demand fairness from China

World Oct. 15, 2011 - 07:00AM JST ( 4 )

NEW YORK —

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday it’s time for the United States to stand up to China as the U.S. puts the economy at the center of its foreign policy.

She told business leaders at the Economic Club of New York that the U.S. shouldn’t continue to allow itself to be taken advantage of by China, which long has been accused by the West of undervaluing its currency to boost exports around the globe.

“They continue to try to game the system to their advantage and our disadvantage,” she said. “It is fitting and timely for us to be standing up and saying, ‘this is not acceptable.’”

China is the world’s second largest economy, and it increasingly isn’t shy about showing off its weapons as well as its wealth.

The entire concept of "fairness" is worthless. What is "fair"? Who defines this? If a lion kills an antelope, is that "fair"? If a hard-working fellow earns more than a lazy fellow, is that "fair"? If they both earn exactly the same wage, is that "fair"?

If China is "unfair", what exactly are we supposed to do about it?

As far as I can see, the concept of "fairness" basically means, "I'm a communist, and here's how I think things should operate ..."

Clinton. Like a bad case of VD that will not go away.

At least GW keeps his mouth shut most of the time.
Maybe Clinton should be blabbering at Obama to get him to resign to save the DemoRat party — that assuming the radical left DemoRATs even care anymore.

They sure do not care about America and its people.

Hillary you fool, they are a sovereign nation. You can’t demand anything form them.

Now do you understand why it’s good to be a sovereign nation?

Obama , “ Hey Hillary. We SERIOUSLY need a distraction if not crisis to deflect how much I suck.”

Hillary, “ Hmm we could start a world-wide trade war and blame it on China?”

Obama, “ Brilliant, I love it! Let`s do a Smoot-Hawley 2.0 and blame the Chi-Coms. It will deflect all the anger focused on me and how inept I`ve onto the “evil Chinese trade policies” . “

Clinton: U.S. must demand fairness from China

I'm thinking a strongly worded objection from the White House Clown should be just the ticket to put China on the right path.

What are we supposed to do? Protect our markets and our jobs? Look out for Americans instead of transnational corporations? That’s crazy talk.

after the clintons literally gave away our technology to the chicoms for campaign cash.

--------------------------

Remember this lovely chapter in American history:

Clinton's top campaign contributors for 1992 were Chinese agents; his top donors in 1996 were U.S. defense contractors selling missile technology to China.

Clinton recieved funding directly from known or suspected Chinese intelligence agents, among them James and Mochtar Riady, who own the Indonesian Lippo Group; John Huang; Charlie Trie; Ted Sioeng; Maria Hsia; Wang Jun and others.

Within the time-frame of the illegal Communist Chinese contributions to the Clinton-Gore Campaign, president Clinton had signed a retro-active Executive Order protecting Loral, the US contractor which handed over top-secret military ICBM targeting technology to the Communist Chinese for use in Chinese missile testing.

The legal effect of Clinton's action granted Hong Kong aerospace engineer, Liu Chao-ying's firm access to US ICBM targeting technology and made Liu an attractive Chinese entity for contractors like Loral and Hughes Aircraft to do business with in China.

Thanks to Bill Clinton, China can now hit cities in the USA, using state-of-the-art solid-fueled missiles with computerized guidance systems and multiple warheads.

Also Clinton appointed anti-nuclear activist Hazel O'Leary to head the Department of Energy. She set to work ''leveling the playing field,'' as she put it, by giving away our nuclear secrets. She declassified 11 million pages of data on U.S. nuclear weapons and loosened up security at weapons labs.

Clinton and company gave away the store.

Federal investigators later concluded that China made off with the ''crown jewels'' of our nuclear weapons research under Clinton's open-door policy.

Meanwhile, Clinton and his corporate cronies raked in millions.

Nov 11, 1996 - Clinton issues executive order 12981 to gut export controls on encryption items and transfer export controls to the Department of Commmerce.

July 15, 2007 - Chinese DF-25 Missile Revealed for the first time (3-warhead MIRV medium range)

The Cox Committee report released in 1999 confirmed that China had stolen the neutron bomb design and the W-88 miniaturized warhead. The W-88 would allow China to field smaller, mobile missiles and carry multiple warheads on larger missiles. In addition, the Cox report proved that U.S. companies illegally transferred ''missile design information and know-how.''

The Clinton legacy just keeps on giving.

If these low-grad idiotimbecilemorons in the WH and at Foggy Bottom would do more DOING and less TALKING, then things might happen.

They don't have that kind of courage though.

RE :”She (Hillary) stressed the importance of a level playing field for companies around the world and called out China on a number of issues, including its currency policy, which she labeled “just one unfair practice.

Yes, they DIDN'T pass an Obama-care mandate on their employers when Obama did on ours. That is so unfair.

Given what is going on at Wall Street I bet Jim Rogers is happy he fled Manhattan for Singapore a few years ago with his family. No gangs of Marxists treated as heroes causing trouble and disrupting business there.

Really; blowing the whistle now means nothing when the time for heroism was 15 years ago when her hubby sold us to Red China.

Kind of like that dopey broad sounding the alarm about Tyco/Worldcom/whatever after the story broke; at the time they said she was sounding her whistle under a basket...

Hillary makes a request from the Chinese? Now that’s funny.

She may as well demand they return all our secret technology her husband gave them.
