Audio: Howard Stern’s crew interviews Occupy Wall Street protesters

Via Breitbart TV. Given Stern’s reach and the otherwise adoring coverage of OWS, this may well be the biggest PR hit the movement’s taken so far. People are buzzing about this Quinnipiac poll out today showing that a heavy majority of New Yorkers agree with “the protesters’ views” — whatever those might be — but the numbers are a fait accompli. In the 2008 election, Brooklyn broke 79/20 for Obama; Manhattan 85/14; and the Bronx 88/11. So long as the protesters babble feelgood platitudes about “economic justice” and take care to ruin the quality of life only for those residents/businesses around Zuccotti Park, most of the City will be happy to attaboy ‘em. If they turn more aggressive and, heaven forbid, start to disrupt New Yorkers’ commutes, that’ll be endgame. The enlightened of NYC are all for toppling the system, please understand, but they don’t like to be inconvenienced while going about their business of running the system.

We’re still waiting for a list of demands, so in a pinch I guess this sample from Occupy Boston will have to do:

Asked what needs to happen to make them pack up their tents, declare victory and leave, many protesters in the loosely organized, purportedly leaderless nationwide anti-corporate movement differed sharply on the end game — if they even see one at all.

“When we see our world leaders step down from their power and give it back to the people of this country or the world, then we will say that we no longer need to do this,” said James McBride of Malden, who has been protesting for a week. “But as long as that doesn’t happen, we will still be here. … We’re already planning for winter.”…

I'm tempted to say "Good - let it burn" except I believe that's exactly what Øbongo wants.

This is why they will never come up with a plan. Any specifics will cause them to lose their support.

The only strategy I see is to provoke the police and get a sympathetic reaction from the public when the police "attack." The police ought to pull back until the protesters either lose interest and go away, or they become so violent that the citizens beg the police to come in.

“Uh, uh, uh, uh...”

Have you ever heard such clueless arrogant fools?

“Occupy Wall Street” seems like a plot by long suffering parents to get these useless social parasites out of the house, so the folks can change the locks.

I listened to Medved interview one of the occupiers this afternoon and the guy was a clueless bumper sticker slogan generator. Medved kept trying to lasso him into some concrete solutions, but the guy would just bluster more Utopian talking points.

Whenever Medved would point out that his “solutions” would require more government regulation, the guy would start rambling on about how the government was part of the problem. In the entire time I listened, the occupier never once offered even a hint at a roadmap to a possible solution for his political grievances.

It was hanging a jello picture to a mud wall using a straw nail and a sponge hammer.

I watched both of the videos at the link and thought if this was the best they could come up with they're in trouble.

That was the most moronic and idiotic bunch of people I've ever heard.

I never knew anyone that that stupid when I was their age. Hell, my kids are their age and are not that clueless.

Clueless ... yes that is the perfect word to describe them. Very much applies to the MSM who root for them.

Listening to it right now.

Have you had sex this week?

Naah.

Have you tried?

Yeah, but without a tent...ya know, it's sort of pointless.

As much as I don’t like Howard Stern for his crude radio show, even he thinks these people are losers. Even he loves capitalism. What does that tell you about these people.

Ha! I was having the same reaction as you.
He makes me cringe, but I had to say to myself...Howard gets his butt to work on time everyday and puts in the time and effort.
People are out there who freely part with their money to buy his “product”.
I don’t like his product - I don’t pay for it.

And that is the free country we live in.

The left dominates all cities and have for many decades and counting! When are non-leftists going to, seriously and successfully, end this ongoing political trend of leftist domination of all cities?
