Somewhere in the heavens above Amarillo, angry shouts rang out from the back of Southwest Airlines Flight 3683.
“You’re all going to die,” a man dressed in black screamed at passengers Tuesday afternoon. “You’re all going to hell. Allahu Akbar,” translated as God is great in Arabic.
Federal authorities arrested Ali Reza Shahsavari, 29, of Indialantic, Fla., onboard the Boeing 737 after pilots made an emergency landing at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport at 3:30 p.m. He is being held in the Randall County jail on a federal charge of interfering with a flight crew.
None of the 136 passengers and five crew members on the flight from Los Angeles to Kansas City was hurt, said Brad Hawkins, spokesman for Dallas-based Southwest.

I thought the name was familiar. That fatal flight also had an Israeli pilot, Ilan Ramon, who had bombed a nuke plant under construction in Iraq:

Political correctness has penetrated our news and our culture so deeply, that’s why no mention was made on your news that he was Muslim.
Heck, even here on Free Republic, this story was discussed yesterday. And somebody left a message challenging another, who was assuming that the perpetrator was Muslim, since it had the hallmarks of Muslim terror attempts. Even some here on Free Republic were saying that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions that he was Muslim.
But yet again it turns out that he was indeed Muslim and was acting out.
How many airline disturbances are caused by non-Muslims? Any statistics on that? Of course it’s probably not PC to discuss that subject or publish such stats.
If he would yelled that in my plane, that would have been the last thing he ever said.

Think of it this way. If this country continues its march to the left, how long before the FBI becomes our Gestapo?
Yep. Used to live in the Italian area of Philly (about 1/4 of the City). They took care of any lawbreaking in their neighborhood -- including laws of God -- "South Philly style." Any drug dealers attempting to peddle on the street would end up kneecapped, and when police arrived, "nobody saw nuttin', hon!"
Nor was this phenomenon strictly about violence. You could settle many petty disputes with neighbors by calling on the local doctor, priest or shopkeeper to mediate. It was a true community.
I’ve concluded that these spontaneous outbursts by deranged muzzies are caused by demonic possession. If one ever crosses my path on a flight, I will do everything I can to exorcize this allah demon from them right there on the flight although the rate of survival for the possessed will not be in his favor.
I love that movie, and that was a great scene.
My wife added an extra to my running the guantlet.
If the guy misbehaves in Gitmo, then fly the female passengers from that flight down to Gitmo to repeat the guantlet running. That would really run his day having a group of angry American women kicking, slapping, scratching and spitting on him. The women could be rewarded by having a gift certificate to use in the duty free Navy exchange/PX in Gitmo.
That’s an Iranian name, BTW, so on top of the plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador now we’ve got a Persian attempting to bring down an airliner in US air space. Anybody see a pattern here?
