This was not the whole webpage. Go to the Let The People Vote source for the rest of the webpage's links, pics and videos.

This is an oversized webpage page that makes you scroll to the right and back to the left, and so on down the webpage at the source. There's a way to avoid that right and left scrolling to just read the text. Copy it and post it in a new comment window or Free Republic posting window for the "Body of Thread." It will reformat automatically.

I would really like to see these guys defeated.

Saland, in particular, has a lot of people in the 41st district really angry. The Dem woman he defeated, in last year's election, was a big gay rights advocate. Saland said he would continue to oppose gay marriage. A few months later, out of nowhere, he casts his vote in favor of the same sex marriage bill. Everybody was in shock.

In a newspaper interview he said it wasn't his intention to change his position but his WIFE made him do it. What a pathetic RINO.

Did Saland's wife threaten him with divorce?

We can defeat them without ever mentioning their support of gay dominance over the people.

Limo-liberals are elitists and usually have a wide trail of betrayal to the people and their freedom.

From what I can see the gay activists are very very active. They use this to make their numbers look bigger than a tiny minority. They promised to help anyone voting for gay marriage and couldn’t deliver in Brooklyn. I see it in my local paper in the Hudson valley. Any disparaging remarks about gays are instantly shot down with the usual homophobe treatment.

My email to Steve Saland:

Senator Saland,

From your website: "In 2009 when the marriage equality bill came before the Senate for a vote, I struggled with the decision."

Considering the fundraiser that will benefit you being hosted by Mayor Bloomberg and featuring multi-millionaire Tim Gill, a homosexual who is funding opposition to practically any legislator or candidate who opposes homosexual marriage across the U.S. (these would mostly be your fellow Republicans), it seems your "struggle" had to do with how much money you would be reaping from the homosexual lobby. It must have been a struggle to sell your honor at such a cheap price.

I grew up and lived in Dutchess County for around thirty years and you were my senator during much of that time. My eighty-five year old father still lives there and was always a proud supporter of yours. We both now believe you to be a disgrace.

You've sold out your constituency, your fellow Republicans, traditional Americans everywhere and God by turning your back on morality, a truth which can only come from God. There is simply no other source.

You will get your thirty pieces of silver from Gill et al., but I hope that it will be to no avail and will actually prove destructive to your public career. I hope my former neighbors act appropriately by voting you out of office. May you be forgotten entirely by the people whom you betrayed.

If you were in Rochester, NY in the 60s ...
When I was still in HS, my family moved there from NYC in 1964 - just a week or two before the riots.
I remember Alinsky coming in and forcing companies like Kodak and Xerox to hire minorities.
I hated him looooong before the rest of America even knew who he was.

Grisanti will have his hands full by our TEA group. We helped him get elected, we will help get him unelected.

No. It may be she is quite proud of her ability to manipulate the clown. The strange thing is, in the Saland interview, he goes to great lenghts to praise Governor Cuomo. Talks about how he met with the Dem Gov and "how engaged and involved he was in the process". Check it out in the link below. Maybe he secretly wants to divorce his wife and marry the Gov.

Alesi is my State Senator. He is also a POS who trespassed on property, broke his leg while trespassing and sued the owners the day before the Statute of Limitations on doing so expired.

Thanks for sharing the email. 30 pieces of silver was an apt analogy.

Democrats and Weprin Outspent Turner to Replace Weiner

The Democratic candidate, Assemblyman David I. Weprin, spent $859,000 on the race, according to a campaign finance filing on Thursday. National groups chipped in more than $675,000, mostly to pay for television advertising in an effort to salvage Mr. Weprin’s flagging campaign in the final days before the Sept. 13 special election.

That amounted to more than double the spending by Mr. Turner, a retired cable television executive, and outside groups that backed him in the race. Mr. Turner spent $464,000, according to a campaign finance filing on Thursday, and national groups funneled more than $100,000 into the contest on his behalf.
