Ho! Ho! My rat senator (Menendez) is on the list. There is hope here in NJ. I do wish however that pubs would publicize exactly how much the rich can really help here....how much is an additional 5 or 10% tax on the rich and how mmany $$$$ does that come to? It is my understanding that even if you take ALL the money from millionaires it wouldn’t amount to that much. Anyone know?

Biden’s Fourth-Grade Economics

Where are these people? Evidently, not in York, Pa. But they’re out there somewhere. Who has “a lot of money”? According to President Obama, if your combined household income is over $250,000 a year you have “a lot of money.” Back in March, my National Review colleague Kevin Williamson pointed out that, in order to balance the budget of the United States, you would have to increase the taxes of people earning more than $250,000 a year by $500,000 a year.

Menendez probably crapped in his pants with the election of Christie.

“The bill failed because Senate Republicans blocked it. Senate Republicans decided they would not ask millionaires and billionaires to pay a little bit more in order to put up to 400,000 teachers in our classrooms teaching our children.”

It is not the role of the Federal government to directly fund the expenditures of state and local governments. Doing this sort of thing on a routine basis undermines our very system of government.

The Republican measure offered on the floor Thursday night won more votes than Obama’s proposal.

Days later in North Carolina, Obama mocked Republicans for not approving his entire jobs proposal.

“Maybe they just couldn’t understand the whole thing all at once,” Obama said during an address in Asheville, N.C.

“So we’re going to break it up into bite-size pieces so they can take a thoughtful approach to this legislation,” Obama said earlier this week.

What an awful, immature, petulant man-child.

Franken was the biggest surprise of the bunch because he’s so far left, but maybe he has more millionaire/billionaire show biz friends than the others.

Obama was in VA this past week on his bus tour. We hold our state legislature/local elections in 2+ weeks. Not ONE Dem in a contested election would be seen with him. Not ONE features him in their campaign lit. And, they had to set his appearances in only the very safest Dem districts, and drop others.

You’re right, nascarnation, he’s going to be one lonely boy next year on the 2012 campaign trail.
