Here is a screen capture of Drudge...notice the photo of the football player holding up a pic of Hussein. Can anyone tell me the origin? Who is this, when was the pic taken?

Sure would like some help identifying the source...I know the pic comes from getty images, but the football team/the day it was taken, etc.
I wonder if Hussein's cult is now permeating the on field antics of the game.

I think it was from one of the college games, maybe Auburn... It wasn’t a political statement... There was another one that had a picture of Bush... If was the cards for calling in plays..

You’re right. It was part of Auburn’s wag signals. Obviously, they hoped to distract LSU with these signs and got their butts kicked.

It’s Auburn, it’s their way of calling plays. When Obama’s picture is held up, the Auburn offense is directed to give up the ball to the other team.

The Zero sign must mean “we’re getting our butts kicked, please try and hang on to the ball”.

When Obamas picture is held up, the Auburn offense is directed to give up the ball to the other team. And to apologize for having it in the first place.

I was watching that game. They showed the guy holding up the placard and one announcer said,” Shouldn’t a picture of 0bama mean a run to the left?” The other announcer seemed to be uncomfortable with the joke. When the play was unsuccessful the first announcer then said, “Well, looks like the 0bama play doesn’t work!” Pure comedy gold!

Some schools use pictures as codes for certain plays. They seem to have themes. They used Bush, too. It wasn’t a political statement, although everyone in my house watching the game had some wisecracks about running to the opposing end zone and such.

It was Barret Trotterof AU. We use pictures as well as numbers to signal plays. Not a political statement as well. Apparently the Caligula play doesn’t work very well. We were shellacked yesterday.
