Glenn Beck

Herman Cain, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann … you can all go home now. The Republican "machine" has settled on former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the 2012 GOP nominee and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as the vice-presidential candidate, according to popular commentator Glenn Beck.

What I fear is that the plain is to destroy Perry among conservative voters, then destroy Cain among everybody.

All of which means that to destroy a liberal dictator there must be a civil war. The rise of a third party will mean defeat and ultimately result in blood shed to eliminate the socialist stranglehold.

I will NOT be forced to choose between Moloch or Mammon. They can both go to hell.

Interesting way to phrase it.

I tell you what, years ago I predicted we would see Romney as the candidate because of the great history of the GOP playing the "his turn" method of candidate selection. Because of this, we would have McCain II. Since it is inevitable that we will have either the Cthulhu the Destroyer, or the Massachusetts Technocrat Manager of Destruction, then can we at least try to have a Senate and House that helps mitigate the disaster?

All I am asking is, that when Romney does get the nomination, that you and your fellow malcontents just shut the hell up or man the phone banks for congress critters that aren't ashamed of the TEA party. By bitching and moaning about Moloch or Mammon, it has the unintended consequence of suppressing turn-out and increasing cynicism. Both of these rotten fruits benefit only the Enemy.

Judging by your username, remember Romans 13:1 or if Jewish: Daniel 2:21; 1 Samuel 2:8. IOW, ultimately it doesn't matter, the "king" has already been ordained by God - its just theater for us to go through the motions of elections.

“That’s exactly what the democrats want you to do in order to give Obama another fours years. Congratulations.”

Congratulations to you. You have your wardheeler’s token for the day.

The GOP will reform or die. As for me, I am off of the Rockefeller Plantation, and have escaped their Bohemian Grove.

We shall see...I think the new party will be more powerful than a lot of elitists believe...And that is to their advantage...

The unrest is already starting, and it is NOT conservatives causing the problems at this time...

One thing to keep in mind...The challenge for a new political party will be to defeat the onslaught of opposition from what is left of both the Democrat and Republican parties...

They WILL do everything they can to de-legitimise and procedurally keep the new party from establishing any kind of beachhead at all levels of government...

They will probably not be that successful in D.C. at the onset...

But, in the local and state houses, I believe the third party will be more successful, and that cannot be ignored...

Again, just my opinion...

The establishment won’t go down without a fight. They’ve got plenty of politicians, pundits, and talk radio hosts who will kick and scream every step of the way if We, the People try to walk away.

Unfortunately, we conservatives are boxed in. The RINO establishment thinks we will accept Romney over Obama. They will toss us a bone, like a Rubio or Cain as VP on the ticket (McCain-Palin re-run), and they will keep the elitist RINO fascade going.

FREEPERS, this should be our mantra - With this knowledge, I think it is all right NOT to vote for Romney as much as I hate Obama:

EVEN IF WE GO THIRD PARTY AND DON'T VOTE FOR ROMNEY, CONSERVATIVE MAJORITIES WILL PRESERVE THE HOUSE AND TAKE THE SENATE.

Obama will be IMPEACHED for his conspiracy in Fast-and-Furious or Solindra after 2012, and the Marxist POS will fall.

Even guys like Limbaugh don't like Romney, but seem to say VERY little about Herman Cain when he's been leading for awhile now.

Damn... If true, I’ll be voting for the Vice Presidential candidate... AGAIN!

Not this time. I did the last election and am so pissed off at the Republicans I will not do it again. If that party is so stupid at to nominate Obama Lite, I will either vote for the real thing (the great bozo) or some other candidate. I will not support another RINO type of candidate, especially one so liberal as Swarmney.

In the Philippines, the VP and Prez slots are independent so even if the prez wins, the VP could come from another party and both makes each others lives miserable as hell. Wished that were true in US elections.

Read your history. We did vote separately in the beginning and it was an absolute disaster. We learned to do better.

IMO Rubio could actually still declare anytime this week, and generate the equivalent of Palin's enthusiasm.

Garner millions in immediate donations; find he's suddenly got enough volunteers to build an organization overnight.

And then. Win.

I'm completely serious. Rubio should jump in this race. Now.

2012 will be yet another year of holding the nose and voting for the lesser of two evils and the evil of two lessors :-(

There won't be enough Republican voters who will do that, just like there wasn't in 2008. The Republican elite will have given us 4 more years of Obama. He again will be able to do anything he wants because the same weak, effete, Republican Elite will have no interest in actually fighting him. If Romney gets the nomination, it is over.

Party loyalty make poor theology.

I will render unto God what is God’s, and that does not include assisting malevolent men ascend to power or buying into corrupted organizations - or exegesis.

Aiding and abetting lesser evils is to reach out and to choose an evil. It is a sure way to remain in bondage and to hand that heirloom off to the young.

I will give men like Obama or Romney the same sort of respect and service that the midwives gave pharaoh, Mordecai gave Haman, and the magi gave Herod.

You and others like you may serve who or what you wish, but I am leaving Egypt.

Is it possible that Beck made a plea to the American people’s emotions and conscious for the purpose of garnering MASSIVE AMOUNTS of money to drive the MORMON machine and control even a larger portion of over all market than they currently do?

When I heard Beck say he was a Christian / Mormon or something very, very close to that, I said to myself BS!

You are either 1 or the other!

As for me, I will not believe in a fleshly Joseph Smith founder of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (MORMON)! I will and do believe in Jesus Christ.

Figure out where you stand Beck!

Agree, gg, that we need to focus on electing Conservatives to Congress. And for those who wish to contribute?..suggest sending directly to the candidate.
