Holder’s days as attorney general may be numbered as resignation calls double overnight

Attorney General Eric Holder’s tenure in the Obama administration may be coming to an end. At least eight members of Congress have now called on Holder to resign over the growing Operation Fast and Furious scandal.

Republican Reps. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, John Mica of Florida, Quico Canseco of Texas and Gus Bilirakis of Florida each told The Daily Caller on Thursday that they believe Holder should step down now. The number of members of Congress calling for Holder to end his career in government because of Fast and Furious is now eight, a number which has doubled in one day.

Previously, Republican Reps. Joe Walsh of Illinois, Raul Labrador of Idaho, Blake Farenthold of Texas and Paul Gosar of Arizona called on Holder to resign.

There are MANY fish to fry in this mess. If he resigns, the whole thing will quietly slip into oblivion.

There is NO Judge Sirica here.

Do not let this traitor retire with a pension. Arrest him and try him for at the very least, perjury. He has blood on his hands.
Ping!

Until a number of highly placed dem/lib/prog/pops call for this waste's resignation, he is as safe as a child in bed asleep.

All the rinos in the world could call for his resignation and it would mean nothing at all....absolutely nothing.

Resignation my left buttock. Where are the calls for criminal charges?

Washington truly is a different world. Things that would land any of us in prison for life simply result in calls for resignation. Unconscionable.

Does anyone foresee any of the current crop of GOP candidates going after criminal prosecutions of this administration in 2013?

Will they even FIRE all the traitors working for Hussein?

It’s going to take more than 8. He’s got a ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ card from every RAT and RINO in town.

last time i checked, resigning from a government position does not grant blanket immunity from prosecution....if he resigns, arrest him immediatly, and get him to flip....

I think the Kevin O’Reilly revelation has a lot to do with this. Former NSA advisor in the White House, in the know about Fast and Furious, suddenly transferred to State Dept and then deployed to Iraq to become unavailable to answer questions. Watch for the Kevin O’Reilly connection to develop more fully unless he’s taken out by an IED.

Never happen.
What we need is a Macruder(sp?) and/or a Butterfield while Holder is STILL in office....THEN it will get interesting.

I do not believe that resignation means that he has immunity from prosecution. It more likely means that those under him would be more willing to come forward with evidence, to save their own pensions.
