Cain Versus the Lynch Mob

James Lewis

November 2, 2011

Hi Tech Lynching is here again! Shades of Justice Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill. They're going to play the same sadistic power game they lost with Justice Thomas. Well, let 'em try, but now they are facing a revived conservative media. This is a trial of strength. When Clarence Thomas was nominated to the Supreme Court he had few defenders. Today we have talk radio and the blogs.

As a morality play this looks like Snidely Whiplash against Little Nell. The Corporate Media are widely hated and distrusted, and not just by conservatives. They are so.... mean-spirited, blood-thirsty, and lynch-mob-like. They have all the moral refinement of mafia thugs. Justice Thomas was the first one to call them a "high tech lynch mob," and they were so shocked, they let off for long enough to get a decent Senate Judiciary vote.

Well, let "High Tech Lynch Mob" be their epitaph. We've had the Yellow Press, we've had the three-network monopoly, and now we have the Lynch Mob Pres.

How amazingly the liberals give themselves away -- especially when it comes to bullying human beings they think they own. Has it ever been more obvious that the left is out to turn people into slaves? Black slaves, women slaves, poor slaves, illegal immigrant slaves, and lately, grossly ignorant college student slaves, all the little brainwashees who are camping out (on command) to Occupy the filthy rich. Like their parents.

The latest stunt is 600,000 petition signatures demanding total forgiveness of college loans. That's a personal gift of up to $40,000.00 per year for four years, not including personal upkeep, dorm fees and condoms. Why don't they just come out and say "We demand $160,000.00 each"? We've seen the "Me generation."...

I think most on FR totally support Cain and can see through this BS lynching by the leftist scum in this country.

I’d rather the Cain detractors leave FR.

James Lewis is my favorite contributor to American Thinker. He was fiercely for Sarah Palin. His columns are keepers.

There are a number of candidates I like. Bachmann is one, Santorum is one, even Paul, for all his occasional goofiness, would be a vastly better President than the one we’ve got. None of them is doing well. Cain is. He seems to be the one conservative candidate who can impede Mitt’s path to his anointed nomination. That’s why he has to be taken down — and way too many FReepers are complicit in the effort.

“The left is not a political philosophy. It’s a seething mass neurosis.”

Gee, I wonder how he feels about the left? lol.

So I was talking about you. Have to remember...smoothsailing aka friend of Leftist MSM and hater of Cain... Ok,got it!

Cain is not my first choice, but I don't like what is being done to him. That's why I started this thread.

Calling me a Leftist says far more about you than it ever will about me.

And I repeat, if you want to gripe about Free Republic, do it somewhere else.

Condi Rice and Colin Powell are both RINO’s (or “Eisenhower Republicans”) but both got called every name from “Oriole” to “Lawn Jockey.” Democrats believe they own African Americans and any black who publicly disputes that will pay a price.
The leftist faggots who draw political cartoons for The Slimes and other branches of the International Pravda Newspaper chain, used to draw Condi with big fat lips and a huge buck-toothed overbite. They were disgusting. And now she's on their side. She should be ashamed of herself.

I don't mind them criticizing Cain—heck that's politics if you have your own dog in the fight.

It's how they join a Leftist attack and try to validate the obvious smear...

When the other candidates were put down it was the result of other Republicans trying to get ahead of them.
This thing is of pure Leftist or RINO origin and those here who start out with “I like Cain BUT...” and then go on to echo the Leftist talking points...

Got no use for them.

Just prior to these allegation, I wondered what the media would dig up or sensationalize about Cain. These allegations are nothing compared to Bill Clinton's actions.

IIRC, there were no headlines regarding the gay allegations involving Obama.

It’s one thing if people are criticizing Cain or any other candidate on policy. But those who are helping in this smear are doing themselves and their candidates no good.

Hermain Cain carries a certain practicality that I haven't seen in a candidate in years. I think he would scrap usual politics and get the country in motion once again.

Screw the usual politics. That only helps the politicians.

Well, let 'em try, but now they are facing a revived conservative media.

Revived? It was few and far between. James Lewis is usually much better.
