Is there another shoe? If so, how big? And how hard might it come down on Herman Cain, who so far, has managed to deflect — albeit awkwardly — the allegations of sexual harassment swirling around him this week?
“She’s been very upset about this since the story broke last Sunday because Mr. Cain has been giving the impression she came out and made false allegations,” Joel Bennett, the lawyer for one of Cain’s accusers said in an interview on CNN last night. “That’s certainly not true and she’s still deciding once we hear from the Restaurant Association what she’ll do — if they’ll waive the confidentiality. Until they do that, she’s not going to speak out.”

The Journolisters are working overtime this time around.
they used this same technique in Kansas to try to take down our A.G. several years ago. There had been a confidential settlement, the press goaded him into acknowledging it, the woman was used to allege that he broke the terms of the deal. He was re-elected and we wised up a little more.

Okay so let me understand all this, Politico puts out a story with secret sources knowingly. Cain cant say anything because of an agreement and the ladies cant say anything because of an agreement. What the hell were people supposed to do? Believe Politico as truth and Cain is in a sexual allegation claim.

Any day now Gloria Alred (sp?) will come on TV with a tearful accuser saying she’s been wronged. After all is said and done she will disappear never to be heard from again. Isn’t that the typical Dem smear pattern?
You have to admit it is a great way to start a conspiracy. It is like the UFO stories where all of the people who supposedly know the truth are conveniently dead so that they can neither confirm or deny the allegations.

Anybody who has worked in an office knows that there are always the disgruntled drama queens. In my company they usually just head off on stress disability. It is a racket and yes I am a woman who knows the difference between sexual harassment and offhand remarks.

I would love to know. I suspect mittens, but that is purely based on my dislike for him, nothing else (the only thing I like about him is his hair and he is handsome).
I see him as a sleazy car salesman. So it would not surprise me one bit, since Cain is beating his a$$, that it is he who leaked it.
If she wanted to speak up, she would have done so already.
The payouts from tabloids and daytime TV programs would more than offset the amount of the settlement she’d have to return.
She wants to remain anonymous for a reason. Her background is probably filled with episodes of skankery that would make Madonna blush.
If a youtube suddenly appears showing Cain beating Michelle Obama with a baseball bat, it will only make me donate more to his campaign.

After Bill Clinton did ALL that he did and stayed in the honorable position as leader of our great country, I don’t care where anyone puts his hoo-hah, or his hands or what he said to someone years ago-....(supposedly).

Show me a video as proof of him doing something illegal and then I might take a look.

Exactly - with such sketchy details Politico can put in all kinds of innuendo like “settlement” as in legal action rather than severance pay which is what actually occured.
