She didn’t file a complaint, but she considered it.
She worked for the National Restaurant Association when he was its head. She told The Associated Press that Cain made sexually suggestive remarks or gestures about the same time that two co-workers had settled separate harassment complaints against him.
The employee described situations in which she said Cain told her he had confided to colleagues how attractive she was and invited her to his corporate apartment outside work. She spoke on condition of anonymity, saying she feared retaliation.
Remember, Cain explained away the incident with one woman as confusion over a gesture he made when showing her how tall his wife is. Not much room for confusion in this third woman’s allegations, though. And here’s something new from the pollster (and Perry supporter) who said earlier today that he saw Cain behave questionably:
Wilson declined to say specifically what Cain said or did to the woman, but that the CEO’s actions made other individuals at the table uneasy.
“It was very uncomfortable,” said the pollster, recalling that other individuals present asked Cain to stop.
Wilson said there were at least three other people at the gathering, but wouldn’t share the name of the woman for publication.
The fact that the third woman never filed a complaint will help Cain a lot, obviously, but we’ve now got four separate people accusing him of inappropriate behavior, two of whom memorialized their claims with formal complaints long before he ran for president. How much more smoke he can stand before people conclude there must be a fire? Stand by for updates.
I think it is actually now five accusers. I don't know their names but it must be 5 or is it 6. Heck probably 7 since they are all anonymous anyway.
Oh, they’ll “conveniently forget” how they treated Clinton over much worse.
Or, they’ll come up with some twisted liberal “logic” that says it was OK to dismiss Clinton but hammer Cain.
Make that 4. I heard a woman once had a thought of considering filing a sexual harassment case against Cain or someone who looked like him.
>> 82.6% of FReepers are guilty of [inappropriate behavior].
Good thing you and me are in the minority, eh? Although I couldn’t help but notice that *you* have come pretty close to that line a couple times. :-)
Well,
Two points:
At least they didn't complain when he looked down their dresses (or through them).
It's probably a good idea to find out if it's worth an overture before one commits. Look before you leap.
Hmm, why do I get the feeling you knew this guy. He passed away about 10 years ago ~ just in case you didn’t know.
This whole thing reeks of a smear.
I pray all this backfires big time.
This thread is getting ridiculously close to a 1998 "Moveon.org" thread. Rabid, knee-jerk defense of any political figure is never productive.
(But I'm up to the task - in a minor league way, compared to, say, Laz.)
You're as nasty as that Perri Caliente guy ~ no, I am neither heartless nor am I rabid.
No doubt, but that broom comment is priceless!! LOL!
Liberals will sell their mother to advance their party.
Allahpundit, your credibility is going down the tubes with me.
But, we know the names of the Clinton accusers and they were credible and Clinton lied about Monica and Clinton lost in court. Those are facts.
There is no comparison to what Cain allegedly said to what Clinton actually did.
Even if everything Cain is accused of is true, it rises to the level of excessive flirting.
Some people are just lookists by birth. They can’t change their orientation, it’s biological.
They HAVE ALL sold their mothers to advance their party.
Didn’t we have several far more credible stories concerning a sitting Democrat presidnent 12-15 years ago?
I’ve heard it’s hard wired in.
It is weird but, they all have the same name
Ann onymous
Coincidence? I think not!
BTW...please note the similar treatment Cain is receiving now to what Palin was subject to the last 2 years...and the common thread behind both becomes clear.
We the People are only to be allowed certain candidates....
