I see a Cain/Newt or vice versa ticket developing.
I don’t trust Gingrich, and if I were Cain, I’d stay away from him.
And we are suppose to ... choose a man on his third marriage as an alternative?
Yes, he must regroup with all that money that is rolloing in.
Think I’ll send another $100.00
I know many applaud Newt’s debating skills, but I really admire his campaign, it is really brilliant. Very positive! He keeps his attacks only pointed towards Obama. Keeping it simple.
so let me get this straight... we are suppose to throw Cain to the curb over unsubstantiated rumors from over a decade ago that probably involved at most offensive hand gestures and compliments on a fellow coworkers looks..
And we are suppose to ... choose a man on his third marriage as an alternative?
That is what the lamestream wants us to do..I suppose Rommney, their annointed one would look a lot better then.
I don’t trust Newt either....for every smart thing or great suggestion by Newt there surely comes some boneheaded mistake or comment soon afterwards.
We'll see what the choices are when it gets to NY. I've never voted in a GOP presidential primary before, but I might change that this time around.
“My first advice is what he hasnt done, which is say nothing until you sit down with your lawyers and with the people who know the facts,”
LOL, good advice on how to be a 2%’er: Talk to your lawyers, be scripted and be lame.
I never said anyone should dismiss Cain because of this current issue. Cain’s current problem doesn’t faze me one bit..... I’m a Newt supporter! :D Cain is likable, but his tax plan ain’t happening and his lack of foreign policy experience is frightening. I take Newt over Cain (and everyone else) simply based on knowledge, experience, vision, and his ability to articulate his message. Cain is simply not ready to be president.
But it just wouldn't make any sense to me for people to abandon Cain in mass because of this bs harassment issue and then choose Newt which is on wife #3.
I don't suspect that wife 1 or 2 have very many good things to say about Newt... what are we going to do a month from now when politico releases an exclusive interview with wife 1 and or 2 detailing all the nasty details of their brake up?
Amen,Most people don’t care about this stuff. They should have asked Clinton.I still like Rick Santorum but wish the rest luck except Romney-he is pro-death.
Either toss the pervert to the curb and combine efforts behind a conservative, or be prepared for Romney.
Well, I hope you’re right. Based on his own history, I don’t trust Newt, so I’m probably biased against him.
I expect Block to be gone by weeks end (guess).
Brett Baier (SP)asked Block about Cains China comment on PBS.
He said that Cain was referring to China developing Nuke Subs.

The uninvited guest: Chinese sub pops up in middle of U.S. Navy exercise, leaving military chiefs red-faced

.................
I thought this was an interesting section:
The People’s Liberation Army Navy’s submarine fleet includes at least two nuclear-missile launching vessels.
Its 13 Song Class submarines are extremely quiet and difficult to detect when running on electric motors.
Commodore Stephen Saunders, editor of Jane’s Fighting Ships, and a former Royal Navy anti-submarine specialist, said the U.S. had paid relatively little attention to this form of warfare since the end of the Cold War.
He said: “It was certainly a wake-up call for the Americans.
.....................
Apparently it didn’t wake Cain up.
Bet Newt wouldn’t make such a stupid mistake.
My first choice is Newt. I could support Herman if that's the way it goes.
Seems the Rovian/RNC 'wisdom of the day' is just another round of It's the Economy, Stupid! No question; the economy is critical; but so too; is the rest of the ugly Obama,Inc.story that portends the worst for our Country. Newt, thus far; appears to be the only Candidate who realizes the threat 'at hand'; or who, at least; chooses a 'leadership voice' to address the threat.
The rest of our field; are those who appear not to be fully engaged with Leadership MO's; or like the discomfort of 'ill fitting shoes'; they seem not yet ready to walk comfortably in their own.
We do not have that luxury of time - and Newt IS ready!
(Better he is mentally 'armed and ready'; and he has the courage of Leadership; and the conviction and experience, it requires.)
You know, for most I think there is a big difference between hating and just thinking Newt isn't a particularly good presidential candidate. Newt DID sit on the couch and shoot an ad with Pelosi bemoaning global warming and arguing we have to do something about it. It was utterly stupid. Newt deserves criticism for that.
Newt is an expert on nearly everything political and historical, but the guy can't stay focused and ends up wandering from topic to topic and ends up saying something stupid. Kinda like when he declared the Ryan budget (that almost every House Republican had just vote for) right wing social engineering. Also, with Newt comes the current wife Callista who I find just disturbing.
Saying that, some folks (including me) are giving Newt a second look out of desperation. I was hoping Perry would do well and so far he hasn't. I just can't take Cain seriously and think he has almost no chance to defeat Obama. I dislike Romney more all the time. Ron Paul is a kook. The rest of the candidates are all terribly flawed. I will vote for whoever the wins the Republican nomination, but in the primary I just might have to vote for Gingrich. Thankfully we still have a few months to decide and for things to shake out.
Good advice, newt. I could go for a Cain/Gingrich ticket.
