Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged “he had taken advantage of me.”
One source, a male, told PJ Media:
Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.
Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:
Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.
The name of the woman — who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident — has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.
Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time — mid-1990s — for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

I hope everyone sees this for what it is.....a blatant, spurious attack against a conservative by the left.
The point of my post to you was in reference to the collision we had here a few days ago. I'd be defending any of the candidates who found themselves in this spot, it is so patently obvious what is going on and the behavior by some here is appalling.
Rush just tore this piece to shreds because they had to add so many corrections to it. In otherwards, it was more salacious nonsense.
That's what I've been saying...this might be the out he's been looking for....he can use all sorts of reasons for backing out when the time is right to do that...probabaly once the money tree starts to dry up..... Many making money off this scandal.

Just because they’re “ours” doesn’t give us any license to excuse red flags or warning bells.
Matter of fact, I’d submit that if you’ve got a candidate in the race..YOU should be coming up the the hard questions and the vetting. You shouldn’t be leaving it up to your ENEMY, for crying out loud!
If you’re truly interested in the best interests and survival of this country, YOU should be finding the dirt on your favorite!

I was thinking former Gov. Edwards who screwed anything with a skirt and used Crown Royal for an antiseptic. He was the one who said that the only thing that could derail his campaign would be to be caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl. You ever want to read a good political memoir, The Last Hayride is awesome.
As far as Vitter goes, the reason he’s in office and was reelected was he didn’t deny and lie. He didn’t change his story and he dealt with it. He faced it head on and has been a good Senator in advocating for his constituents and supporting conservative issues like very pro life, pro 2A, pro business, very pro-troops, anti-0bama, etc. Cain on the other hand has some waffling on some key conservative positions. THAT is really the more troubling issue for me.
So to sum up the PJM “reporting”:
We have a woman claiming that she woke up in Cain’s apartment after a night of drinking- however... nobody has come forward witnessing her ever actually arriving at his apartment.
And she (subtly) admits that she did not sleep in Mr. Cain’s bed... because if she did, she certainly would’ve stated that key fact.
Shame on you, PJM...
Besides which, why does a not-so-polished response by Cain trump the anonymous, yellow-journalistic charges against him and this feverish attempt, even by PJM to get a 'scoop' at the expense of the truth?
This is not really about Cain. This is about a shameless attempt to get rid of him.
(In the eyes of the left, this same kind of thing succeeded with Sarah Palin. I'm sure they'd love it to work against Cain).
The telling thing here is that a forced sexual act is miles away from mere sexual harassment. So, what is the spin going to be tomorrow? It started out being he never touched her but a jesture that made her feel uncomfortable and now it's up to a drunken night in his apartment. Spin, spin, spin.
Yep...and the show goes on ...and what a show it is.

Hanity said, the third woman said Herman said, Darling could you doctor my tea for me. I am shocked, the man needs to be horse whipped. And I need to have electric shock therapy because I am guilty of the same thing.
Indeed beandog DID tell me I was raising my daughter to be a wimp. And I am outraged by his comment and his treatment of any individual who has gone through a sexual ordeal. Whether we have assault and rape or just improper advances in the work place is beyond our complete knowledge right now, but I am offended and ANGRY with the disgraceful treatment you people are showing to those... ALL of those who have to deal with this.

My 16 year old raped daughter was no wimp. She was RAPED.

You have gone a bit off the deep end, here. We’re not talking about rape. Believe me, if there was any evidence of that, it’d be a lot more than hint-hint, nudge-nudged. And if we are, or something short of it that’s nevertheless nothing to joke about or dismiss curtly, don’t blame us. Because we cannot be held responsible for the reluctance of women to come forward in general, given the madness of sexual harassment law and the litigious nature of our society.
Much less can we be blamed for the vague and ever changing implications. Maybe we wouldn’t cast shame over victims of real abuse if reporters could tell us what abuse, if any, happened. Rather than trying to extract as much scandal as possible without revealing anything that anyone could pin them down on.
FYI...Cain will be on Hannity’s radio show during the entire 4:00 pm EDT hour.
—Cain needs to get in front of a camera ASAP and admit indiscretions before any of these women go public.—
