Like many, I didn't get to see this. Please leave this in breaking news so everyone gets a chance to see this (or somewhere it gets a lot of exposure). It's very important for conservatives to see this....enjoy! : )

Cain did something last night that impressed me greatly, but it was not at all obvious at first; it took a while to sink in. On a question of defined benefit plans v. defined contribution plans he thought for a second, realized he hadn't formulated his thoughts, looked at his "opponent," and said, "You take it."

Have you EVER seen a politician do that? Hell no! Every politician I have ever seen will say anything, no matter how lame, because he needs to look like he's totally in charge. Yet in doing so, I can't tell you how many times they merely proved that they hadn't a clue. It later became apparent that it wasn't the case that Cain didn't know anything about the topic. He simply did not know what he wanted to say. So, he deferred to 'his guy,' Newt, a man he clearly trusted and respected in order to work off what he had to say. Everybody knows Newt has something to say. The problem with him is that much of what he believes is plainly wrong (cap and trade, etc.).

I think this is but one reason why these two clearly like each other.

Cain is a guy I could work for: A real leader who will do what he can to make his people look good. He doesn't have to know everything. After all, if he did, why hire anybody? Why have advisers? This is a leader, not a monster ego.

Informative. When Mr. Cain asked “The Speaker” the last question I thought they both were going to roll on the floor laughing. That was beautiful. Then at 81:36 did anyone notice Mr. Cain putting his chair back at the table? Most likely, it was just like him Mom taught him.

Thanks, Rick! I saw some of the debate live, but missed the beginning, so this is nice to have. Plus now I can send the link to my Dad, who missed the whole debate.
