Allred on MSNBC 11/8/2011“Congress should subpoena Cain under oath to detail every allegation.."
msnbc / lexisnexis transcript ^ | November 8, 2011 | GLORIA ALLRED/LAWRENCE O` DONNELL

Posted on 11/09/2011 9:36:39 AM PST by sickoflibs

LAWRENCE O` DONNELL(MSNBC The Last Word) :
It`s a good thing you weren`t at that press conference today. The reporters I think did mostly a terrible job. There were a couple of good questions. “The New York Times” had a good question. But they didn`t go in for the precision we need at this point.
What did you hear there today you would like to contest?

GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY FOR CAIN ACCUSER: Well, I mean, he just was all over the place. You know, forget the lie detector for this one.

O`DONNELL: There ain`t going to be a lie detector, we know that.

ALLRED: Here`s what I think he should do. You know what I think? I think that the United States Senate or could be the House of Representatives should explore whether the laws against sexual harassment need to be strengthened and in their pursuit of examining what kind of legislation might be needed, they should subpoena witnesses like Herman Cain, right before the committee, let him testify under oath, under penalty of perjury, let him be asked specific questions that you, Lawrence O`Donnell, very rightly said he should be asked and more.
I want to know every allegation that was ever made against him in his employment history that involved sexual harassment. I want to know specifically what these allegations were, what his response was, what every investigation of every employer showed, and what the result was and how much money was paid.
And then let`s see what his answers are.
I`d be willing to have my client go — she`d be willing to testify under oath. And my guess, although I haven`t talked to the other women, is that they`d be willing to do that as well.

O`DONNELL: Well, I don`t want to live in a country where the United States Senate subpoenas presidential candidates to testify under oath about anything, but it would be nice to find out more about this. Do you have another step planned at this stage?

No. First, have the blondie testify in court, under oath, along with her collaborators.

Yeah, calling someone in front of Congress simply on the allegation of some crazy slut...

They were crazy about that kind of thing during the French Reign of Terror.

Is it true that Allred has a glass bottom row boat that she rows through the sewers?

Might as well. With Dictator Hussein circumventing Congress with all of his executive orders, they have nothing to do anyway.

Is she senile? The statute of limitations has run out. Congress has noright to subpoena a private citizen on a private matter that was settled over a decade ago. Get her room at the home ready, she has officially lost it!

Has Gloria Allred released copies of those “affidavits” to the public?

I'd like to know who the pediatrician boyfriend is and who her mentor businessman friend is and exactly what they attested to in their legal statements.

She waived them around at the press conference as her “evidence” but I haven't seen a copy nor heard any names associated with her Affidavits!

Let's see the one pagers!

Heres the funny part,,, if everything the desperate housewives claim about Cain is true. It doesn’t matter to me. They say he compared a chick to his wife, stiffed some north american shorthairs with the wine tab, and hit on another chick who offered herself. So what? How many wars are we in,,, one in 6 Americans can’t find a job, the debt is growing at an exponential rate, I’m about to have to bail out Europe, and obama is making the early moves of a dictatorship. And I’m supposed to care if he cracked a secretary on the ass?
Please,,,, it’d be a relief to get a president who didn’t suffer from low-T.

Gee wiz Madam All-red, you're an attorney.

Have you filed your lawsuit yet?

Shouldn't you do that first?

Maybe, if the senate would also question obama on his eligibility at the same time, I would agree to this.

However, congress has no authority to question private citizens on any private matter. Especially one that happened 10-15 years ago.

You are kidding me. The woman is purely a dope.

Maybe we should go ask Tokyo Rove if he still thinks Gloria adds credibilty to any accusation.

Anyone know how to contact Karl? I will send this to him and see what he thinks. I want an answer from Karl.

Congress just does not have the time to look into the Cain accusations.

They are too busy looking into the Larry Sinclair story about Obama the homosexual cocaine user.

Unbelievable. THis woman wouldn’t talk to Katherine Willey but gets an ‘open mic’ for this? I hope she and her ‘client #9’ are literally destroyed.

A good reason for using the 5th amendment.
