Cain Gets Major Applause At Debate After Dismissing Harassment Claim
Real Clear Politics ^ | 11/9/11

CAIN: Yes. BARTIROMO: You know that shareholders are reluctant to hire a CEO where there are character issues. Why should the American people hire a president if they feel there are character issues?

CAIN: The American people deserve better than someone being tried in the court of public opinion based on unfounded accusations. That's...

(APPLAUSE)

And I value my character and my integrity more than anything else. And for every -- one person that comes forward with a false accusation, there are probably -- there are thousands who would say none of that sort of activity ever came from Herman Cain.

You're right. This country's looking for leadership. And this is why a lot of people, despite what has happened over the last nine days, are still very enthusiastic behind my candidacy. Over the last nine days...

(APPLAUSE)

Over the last nine days, the voters have voted with their dollars, and they are saying they don't care about the character assassination. They care about leadership and getting this economy growing and all of the other problems we face.

(APPLAUSE)

I agree-I don’t give a rat’s patooty what he may have done years ago-I don’t believe it anyway, but unless you have it on film, I don’t care.

And as a woman who has REALLY been raped and survived, these women have NOOOO idea what it is like to really be sexually abused/harassed...how dare they say how upsetting it was for Cain to make some kind of gesture that offended them.

They don’t have a clue what it means to be offended as a woman.

Take your self-made victim-hood elsewhere, maybe a rape crisis center and see how pitied you are.

They make me sick....

I watched that interview yesterday, she couldn’t even read it properly. It was so fake. and believe me if I thought it was true, I would dump Cain.
But for now I am a Cainiac
Gee I am getting as bad as those who think Obama is Messiah.

That is an excellent analysis of the left’s intentions.

People here forget the oboma administration lives and dyes using these methods. They taught them to their top dog activists for gosh sakes! No one seems to be getting that.
If people don't pay attention, they're going to get pushed around by the left like rag dolls!

Thanks!

If I like what I see, I'm going to send Herman a donation. I haven't been so hopeful about somebody since Ronald Reagan campaigned in the late 70's and early 1980.

And as unbelievable as it seems, the winner of next year's GOP primary will be going up against an even more incompetent boob than Jimmy Carter. Also, while I personally could never stand Jimmy, lots of people found him very likeable. I don't think there's too many out there who find Obama a likeable sort - the very likeable Herman has a real shot of winning the Black vote.

Bump to that post. Thanks
Man I am getting to be a nut case over Cain.
There was an elderly man on news last night local news Memphis. ,oh he must have been 80 years old and he was so enthusiastic about Cain. He said he never gets excited about primaries
Cain really inspires passion. IMHO

This was a stupid question, I want to know about foreign policy, national policy, what about Iran, radical muslims,

I still have no idea about much of all those issues and this flake asked a stupid question.

Exactly. I don’t want any door left open. I know that is hard, but that is also why he has to be especially careful. People like him because he acts like an adult so he needs to keep the cutesy name calling out of it.

I didn’t notice it too much the first time around, but when I watched the debate the second time around, I specifically listened to see/hear what response he got. It was only a couple but he’s a smart man and I think he noted it too. So, hopefully he will be more careful. The other reason I was kind of worried about it is because of this harassment crap. I was worried the media might take his comment and link the two and suggest he has a problem with women. One of the stupid crawls on the screen, under the debate last night said something about Cain not having to worry about going after the female vote. I don’t want the media to have anything like that to toss out there. ya know?

Forgot about Alinsky's book dedication to Lucifer. That is really creepy.

And just today, looking Axlerod's photo above in this thread, I had one of those moments most of us have had when ya feel like you are gazing pure, pulsing evil.

I get a bad vibe viewing Holder and most of unbama's cabinet, Reid, Frank, Durbin, Ayers. And a cold, hard feeling when viewing Rahm Emanuel and others, like GE's Immelt, Van Jones, and even bill clnton when his face is caught purely unaware of cameras. The feeling is not dislike (but of course that is there big time), it's more like intense discomfort.

Wonder if that dedication carried some import. Wonder if demons do exist?

Know how this reads, but there you have it anyway, lol (sort of).

The left always has a habit of going overboard.

Our side is no longer cowed by their cheap tricks like we used to be.

After Cain made his eloquent defense of himself on Tuesday, the next day this lawyer Bennett comes back to the mic to say his client now wants to tell all the details.

Then we hear they are planning a joint presser with the Allred phony Bialek.

Okay, enough already. What is the point? What is it they want? It wasn’t important 15 years ago, it isn’t now.

This is where they went overboard. The only reason is because they failed and won’t admit it.

People are tired of and bored with these women and no longer care. Many say they don’t want to hear those sleazy details coming out of these women’s mouths.

The left should have just left it alone with the original charge. Then it was more credible and we didn’t know quite what to think of the woman or the charges.

They now have opened their mouths and removed all doubts.

And it means they lose.

I’m almost convinced that if the so-called “RINO establishment elite” (whoever that is) suddenly embraced Herman Cain, a huge portion of his followers would abandon him.

Personally, I’d really rather not give Obama a second term. Nominating Herman Cain would do just that.

” L. Lin Wood has a real “go for the jugular” history and reputation. Ask all the media outlets and others that smeared Richard Jewell in the wake of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics park bombing, for one example “

Herman /Lin dropped the gauntlet on the attorneys/accusers
with Lin’s intro, and Hermans non teleprompter response, and cool under fire responses from the media.

They will play real hardball if necessary

A pretty good analysis.

Yes, the remaining Perry supporters are NOT Romney supporters. When Perry drops out Gingrich will benefit the most, then maybe Bachmann and Santorum, then Cain.

Romney will get the dozen or so Perry supporters who vote for hairstyle.
