This information needs to go beyond the pages of FR. I think it’s very significant.

“Wood is the type of lawyer that REALLY believes in his client’s innocence before he accepts a case and he wouldn’t permit Cain to dance around the truth in a presser (not that Cain would anyway).”

I assume Wood already watched Cain pass a polygraph before he would allow him to agree to a future polygraph in a press conference.

We’ve all been in that position where we couldn’t wait to attack a pressing problem and were finally given the go ahead to act. There’s such a release in that where you feel the calm in the storm.

That’s what I picked up from Cain in the press conference. When he actually interrupted the reported to say “Yes, yes!” he’d take a polygraph, I knew he was telling the truth. What liar would be so anxious to agree to a polygraph?

I wish he was a little more up to speed on foreign policy but I think he would make a good president.

Very possible. Either a polygraph or Wood knows his own internal lie detector is infallible when it comes to selecting clients.

Wonder what the software reads when certain other politicians talk?

How much would you bet that she came on to Cain, he rebuffed her advances and this is her version of payback?

"I think Herman Cain's stock just went up. This is a perfect opportunity for Herman Cain to apologize to Rick Perry for thinking it possible that a Republican candidate would be up to such dirty tactics, and direct his fire exclusively at Obama. By doing so he can seize the mantle of Obama's target, forcing all other Republicans to support him while trying to run against his nomination. I don't know if Cain has the right stuff for that maneuver. I do think that, in his shoes, Sarah Palin would. We shall see.

The right way for Cain to do it would be to condemn Obama's meddling in the Republican primary election. Thus condemning his gratuitous advantage even while profiting by it."

This is so brilliant on so many levels...

I think...well, who the heck cares what I think? I just think that it’s going to be difficult for Herm to recover from this blow:

In a devastating blow to businessman Herman Cain’s presidential ambitions, the American Mustache Institute—a group which had previously lavished rapturous praise on the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO—announced it was rescinding its official endorsement of the GOP field’s only mustachioed candidate.

We’ve reached the time. Yes we have. Now the Onion guys are writing copy...
