(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
i still think the fast & furious long goal was to cause massive civil unrest in mexico... to a point of civil war. the result would be refugees begging for access to the US
and of course, 0failure will grant it... along with refugee status to all the illegals already here.
5 minutes later, they’ll also get the right to vote
30-50m new dem voters
I remember hearing them described as 30,000 parts flying in close formation.
RIP.
Thursday, November 10, 2011 Calif. budget cuts threaten to cut elite special agent units. - “171 special agents are about to be laid off.” “We go after major narcotic traffickers, international cartels,” said an unidentified agent. “Sex offenders, murderers, kidnappers.” “Thirty-four task forces are being dismantled.” http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/state&id=8427903
Ping!
Abathar : OMG, just imagine the firestorm if that happened...
What would the Mexican Government do in retaliation, recall all their citizens?
I disagree...helicopters are lovely to fly. By competent folks.
My post for 11-11-11
The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it’s nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces and controls working in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously. There is no such thing as a gliding helicopter.
This is why being a helicopter pilot is so different from being an airplane pilot, and why in generality, airplane pilots are open, clear-eyed, buoyant extroverts and helicopter pilots are brooding introspective anticipators of trouble. They know if something bad has not happened it is about to.

Hell no, open the floodgates on their southern border and bus them north.
Thank you.
I don’t like the thought of anything flying with the most important part on the whole thing named “the Jesus Nut”.
My gut is telling me that this is much more than a crashed helicopter!!
Doesn’t necessarily have to be ME ne’er do wells, does it? Just add an X.
I thought it was the Jesus Pin, but I leave the flying to the love of my life so I don’t actually know anything.
“My gut is telling me...”
I’d be surprised if it wasn’t.
I thought it was the nut that held the top of the rotor on, now if that baby comes off all the praying in the world won’t help you above 50’ or so.
“He was the head of Mexican internal political affairs and security.”
Cartel, most likely. Mexico is on the edge of anarchy.
Probably just as much reason to connect it to the cartels, only the cartels would probably go for something more flashy. Accidents do happen, especially when there’s no way to prove otherwise.
Good point Cedar Dave...this is the 2nd...guy to go down..in that position of fighting drug lords.
