These illegals contain unknown numbers of disease-ridden individuals, rapists, murderers, alcoholics that drive AND kill, extended families that use our emergency rooms like a WalMart, families that use WICs, AFDC, EBT, et al like our poorest CITIZENs, children that costs us Tens of thousands of dollars to feed, transport and educate...and on and on and on and on...
We owe these criminals nothing. When the blindfold of justice is raised to interject ‘exceptions’, it perverts the law. Screw these people. Send them back. If DHS, TSA or ICE/CBPE can’t do it, farm it out to deputized entrepreneurs and put a bounty on each illegal head. Get rid of them. No amnesty, no quarter, NO MAS!
Magical thinking is not a plan. You don’t have a clue about what all that would cost. As for no catch and release - are the police supposed to drive a suspected illegal right to the airport? There such a thing as due process in the Constitution and people are going to be afforded the opportunity to prove that they are here legally. That means a hearing, which means they are going to be released pending that hearing. That is unless you want the police or ICE to make a summary judgement about a person’s status all on their own. Then you have a police state.

Deputize American citizens? Just say no coopting the populace into law enforcement. That’s what the East Germans did.

Citizens have always been able to be called to assist law enforcement in time of need. “Hue and a Cry” and “Posse” come to mind.
This is an issue that is too big not to involve the American citizen and being deputized brings them same authority and protections such as good faith exceptions enjoyed by our deputies and police officers.
Amnesty in the current refers to citizenship granted by ignoring illegal entry. That is not what Newt Gingrich explained last night and this effort to get Freepers to buy the lies of the media is despicable, but predictable.

Because I will not remain at a site which does this 'stealth tracking' cookie application, I have no idea if Newt was speaking they things you attribute or if you are trying to establish as Newt's words some possible mischaracterizations of his words. I know what I heard Newt say last night during the CNN event (I won't call them debates).
Bachmann continues to be a disappointment for me. But the question has been raised why she goes after everyone but Romney...might just be hype.
As for those here who oppose Newt’s plans...well let them put their candidates plans up there and we’ll have a debate. But as you say they are not interested in the truth.
I applied a screening program and watched the link, starting at minute 7. You have mischaracterized what Newt said. That is deception, and in my calculus lying. If one listens to what Newt says in your link, starting at about minute 16 through minute 22, the truth is very different from what you tried to establish.
