A second Iranian nuclear facility has exploded, as diplomatic tensions rise
The Australian ^ | 11/30/11 | Sheera Frenkel

AN IRANIAN nuclear facility has been hit by a huge explosion, the second such blast in a month, prompting speculation that Tehran's military and atomic sites are under attack. Satellite imagery seen by The Times confirmed that a blast that rocked the city of Isfahan on Monday struck the uranium enrichment facility there, despite denials by Tehran.

Their headline is misleading. There were two sites. The first on Nov 12 was a rocket manufacturing and research facility, not a nuke plant.

With that said, there were several explosions at the rocket site. New satellite images show that each major building had exploded internally while other buildings close to them did not. I am now looking forward to the new images to show how much damage was done from the blast outside of Esfahan. I saw someplace a youtube type video of the explosion cloud. This again, was no small event.

Kudos to MOSSAD

So Israel is blowing up Iranian nuclear plants and Iran is just sitting there taking it?

What can they do? Without definitive proof that Israel is behind the attacks what can Iran do? Besides, Iran knows they look weak if they admit that deep within their country at their most heavily guarded sites explosions are happening and they are unable to stop them.

“But why isn’t it being reported in the MSM? Not even Drudge is reporting this. Why?? “

IMHEO....Because we are doing the bombing with secret weapons and OBowMao has told his media that he doesn’t want it reported because it will make him look bad in the eyes of his Muslim brothers. The Israelis can’t take credit for it because they are not doing it. US military chiefs told ObowMao it had to be done and didn’t give him a choice other than to tell him to keep his mouth shut. The problem is keeping Biden’s mouth shut though.

AMEN!

If Iran thinks it is under attack, this is NOT going to be a clean war

and we have a Muslim president, too

expect dirty bombs here, expect an EMP blast, too, if not a simple fission/fusion blast on DC

“What could possibly be causing all these explosions?”

Just a few thoughts. Inadequate Iranian ordnance handling safety procedures? Or, it could be sabotage. Or, it could be gross incompetence. Pick one.

I have a friend/student in Tel Aviv... Former member of the Golani Brigade. We were once discussing black ops, Mossad, etc. He said something to me that has stuck with me ever since: "The sign that an operation was conducted by Mossad is - there is no sign." Now that statement may sound like he is trying to brag on Mossad (which would be and is justifiable.) But when I asked him to expand on the statement, he said that like any other spec ops unit, the Mossad can and has left false flags that point away from Israeli involvement. That is a common practice in black ops. But quite often, the lack of any sign or the lack of an overt indicater speaks volumes - and Mossad quite often speaks in that manner... Silently. No proof left at all. It messes with the enemy's mind and makes them feel more vulnerable. A good tactic to have available for use.

With the U.S., we quite often make so much noise and protest in an effort to prevent having to take real action (this is done out of fear of offending some nation about which we shouldn't give a d@mn) that by the time we do move forward with a "black operation" it is only what I call a "gray operation". A "gray operation" is one that is executed according to plan and is successful in all but keeping the light from being shed on the fact that it was a U.S. operation. That little bit of light shown on the operation takes it from "black" to "gray".

The best "black ops" are the ones you never hear about at all... And that does happen - or at least it used to back in the day. What ever the problem or obstacle was, it just disappeared or was removed... A case of "Wow! How did that happen?" or "Isn't that a nice gift from above?" But nothing to allow for fact based accusations.

Maintaining a high level of plausible deniability was of the utmost importance. There is no reason for any operation to ever have to be a "gray operation" outside of the fact that the politicians like to beat their chest and say "look what we did." And the latest case of that, in my opinion, probably led to the downing of a helo carrying Team 6. What a waste of fine outstanding Americans... All so that an administration could try to make themselves look like they really want to defeat the terrorists we are fighting. Talk about your "enemies domestic"... Sheesh

All very plausible alternatives to pick from. Perhaps even a combination.
If sabotage, most likely it has ‘inside’ help, and needs to keep the momentum going to achieve satisfactory *total* results. That conclusive result will have to be when the regime is no longer in power, and its minions are completely disarmed & disabled. No point at all in leaving behind a wounded enemy; in fact, in their case, it will be downright dangerous.
It seems 2012 is going to be more eventful than 2011.

I probably didn't put things in the best of contexts in my post number 71... Those "best black ops" to which I was referring were ones that usually involved problems that hadn't yet been recognized as an issue by the general public, the media, etc. It was almost always a operation that was based upon human gathered intelligence, not electronic intelligence.

Most of our HUMINT capability was gutted during the Clinton administration. They had the idea that we could do everything with ELINT. Had that not occurred during their administration, 9-11 might not have happened. No guarantees - but it might not have.

Our forces have for years conducted ops that needed to be executed. Not all of the Army's "jungle survival training" is "jungle survival training". Sometimes when that SEAL team boat gets set off the back of that destroyer just after sunset and comes back just before dawn they are not just going out for a training exercise under the darkness of a new moon. Stuff has to get done... Somebody has to do it. As has been said: “People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”

The hurt and sorrow has been ongoing for the past 30 years. I do have some family members still living in Iran who are suffering and enduring life under the mullah occupation.

The truth is no one here will ever be capable of understanding the reality of life under the mullahs’ rule in Iran. It is worst than you can imagine. It is hopeless and agonizing slow death of a worthy country and her trapped people.

The blast came two weeks after Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Gen. Hasan Tehrani Moghaddam and 20 other IRGC members were killed in a massive explosion at a base near the village of Bidganeh, southwest of Tehran.

God speed, Israel.

I gotta believe the Iranians are sh!tting their pants.

Nobody doubts this is Israel, maybe in cahoots with the USA.

But nobody is claiming anything.

And Iran keeps denying it even occurred.

The reason for denials instead of accusations...is they don't know the METHOD being used. They don't know if it's a missile, aircraft with bombs, sappers, digital sabotage or directed energy weapons from space.

They don't know what it is...and neither does most of the rest of the world.

More than just the Iranians are spooked.
