Perry flew a cargo plane, he was scrubbed as a fighter pilot. Cargo is the last step before the door, that is the way the air force training program works.

I take offense, there is nothing wrong with cargo. In fact my brother flew cargo in Viet Nam. A LOT of people have served on cargo planes and I thank them for their service.

I have a retired nephew who flew Air Force cargo aircraft his entire career and ended his time in command of a training base for transport pilots. They are a proud group of airmen and do amazing work.
I think you need to think through your posts a little more carefully.

You don’t know what you’re taking about. Flying a C-130 ain’t a walk in the park. Do you have any idea how much skill it takes to fly one and how much responsibility is on the shoulders of a C-130 pilot? Obviously not.
