Via the Right Scoop, I encourage you to watch the interview if you missed it last night or read the transcript. Heres the sort of uncalled for, out-of-left-field word grenade that Bret Baier was lobbing at poor defenseless Mitt Romney:
BAIER: About your book, you talk about Massachusetts healthcare. Weve heard you many times, in the debates and interviews, talk about how it is different in your mind than the presidents healthcare law, Obamacare. The question is, do you still support the idea of a mandate? Do you believe that that was the right thing for Massachusetts? Do you think a mandate, mandating people to buy insurance is the right tool?
Romneys reply: Bret, I dont know how many hundred times Ive said this, too. This is an unusual interview. Actually, if theres any criticism to be made of Baiers questioning, I think thats it not that the questions were uncalled for but that they were a little too called for because they cut right to the heart of conservatives concerns about Romney. Hes been asked this stuff a thousand times on the trail. But the repetition is inevitable and even necessary when hes stuck at 25 percent in the polls with Iowa 34 days away. Theres a reason for that, and Baiers giving him a chance to address it. Another example:

Never liked wooden-wuss myself. Looks like Newt will be our guy. Don’t know that much about him except what I’ve heard but good Lord in this election year of all election years why don’t we have some really excellent candidates to choose from?
...”Romney cannot be our choice”...
Ditto!
Which of these examples is a better type of response?:

Bentsen: Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy.
Quayle: That was really uncalled for, Senator.

Hank Trewhitt (Baltimore Sun):You already are the oldest president in history, and some of your staff say you were tired after your most recent encounter with Mr. Mondale. I recall that President Kennedy had to go for days on end with very little sleep during the Cuba missile crisis. Is there any doubt in your mind that you would be able to function in such circumstances?
Reagan: Not at all, Mr. Trewhitt, and I want you to know that also I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponents youth and inexperience.
I would love to see an interviewer say, "WHY was that question "uncalled for"? Please explain."
Here is Romney vs Obama:
Obama: Gov Romney agrees with my healthcare plan since he implemented it first, including an individual mandate.
Romney: Let me explain again how my plan is different...
Obama: Gov Romney agrees with me and supports a woman’s right to choose.
Romney: Let me explain how my position is different...
Obama: Gov Romney agrees with me and supports common sense gun control, especially for deadly assault weapons.
Romney: Let me explain how my position is different....
It will be Romney on defense the whole time.
Romney is such a wuss...I bet he pees sitting down.
Yes but is he more Romneybotish than Ann Coulter?
Romney’s behaviour was the “Thou shall not question your LDS betters” attitude which is near impossible to explain to people who haven’t lived in or near Utah.
If anyone wants to really see Romney bristle, get Greta Van Susteren or Megyn Kelly to ask him the same questions.
Ha! That’s a classic Martin Short piece.
What a whiny bitch. He’s so used to getting the kid glove treatment that a legitimate and non-adversarial line of questioning causes him to throw a hissy fit.

Please grow up. Childish wordplay doesn’t advance the debate, help us to identify a true conservative Presidential nominee, or reflect well on you.
Rick Perry handled a very hostile, gotcha-type interview with Greta with charm and good will. Quite a contrast.
Why does ANYONE watch O’Reilly, he is the most pompous irritating guy in the world, well, with a few exceptions.
What a diva
Who do Mitt think he is a aging Broadway star? LOL!
Piss on Romney
Piss on Romney
Bump.
Romney looked horrible. If he is that easily rattled, he will totally get destroyed by Obama.
I doubt it, but Ann wasn’t on the panel, so I can only comment on what Krauthammer.
