Hello Fellow Obama Supporter,
There's less than a year to go until Election Day 2012. That's time we have to spend building the kind of movement we need to win.
Our hardest-fought battles have been waged to provide financial security to the middle class -- from strengthening consumer protections to passing health reform to the President's plan to create jobs and rebuild our economy. While Republicans in Congress have blocked nearly every part of this plan, President Obama has never stopped fighting for middle-class security. And he needs us to keep the pressure on. That's what we've been focused on getting the word out in our neighborhoods and asking people to stand with the President.
Let's keep that work going -- help organize in Maryland. This Saturday, December 10th, we're holding a phone bank and volunteer appreciation holiday party in Kensington where we'll celebrate the work we've done, and make calls to supporters and ask them to volunteer to help build this campaign.

We can't leave the fate of the middle class to the Republicans running for president. They have rejected common-sense proposals like the President's plan to extend the payroll tax cut, which puts $1,500 in the pockets of typical working families. And they want to provide tax breaks for millionaires and corporations while balancing the budget on the backs of the middle class -- making tremendous cuts to program after program that people depend on, like Social Security and Medicare.
That's why we're organizing for President Obama and Democrats in Maryland. By growing this organization where we live, we're bringing more folks into this fight and helping ensure that we can keep making progress.

My apologies for that Basil, you’re absolutely right.
It does cause me to wonder WHY the 0bama regime thinks they need to be mounting “get out the vote” efforts in MARYLAND of all places, a few years ago when returning from overseas, I was asked if I had visited any Communist countries, I told the guy “I stayed over in Maryland” and he said “close enough”, lol
I gave one of my free email addresses to an Obama,com site looking for get material to post here too. I havent got anything that is really new that hasnt been posted here in another format already. I think I got this one too. So far it's just junking up my email account.
