The kids are writing to the wrong people. They should be writing to their parents, asking them why they broke the law and came here illegally, thus imposing the risk of deportation on the family and the chance it would be split up? Many, many years ago when my parents were raising me, they taught me two things: first, parents are responsible for their children, when they are children. Second, when the children are grown, they are responsible for themselves. Yet another lesson lost in the swamp of the nanny state.

Who cares. Until the border is shut down they will be back in a couple of months. This is the point Perry has been trying to make. Shut down the border, then when you deport they will stay deported. I know a guy who was deported and was back in a couple weeks. I thought WTF?
Why can’t the kids go with the parents? I can’t imagine that my folks would have allowed our family to seperated in a similar circumstance.
Why is it bad to split families to deport them, but it was just fine when they split up their family VOLUNTARILY when they left their home country to come here?
They can always go “home” with their law breaking parents
You can use this same logic to argue againt sending convicted felons to prison. “Don’t send my car jacking papa to jail! It will split up our family!”
I propose the ‘keeping immigrant families together Act’ that stops the government from granting citizenship to children of illegals. That policy of making them Americans automatically is obviously cruel.
Apparantly illegal aliens don’t love their children enough to take them when they go.
They are not ‘immigrant’ families. They are a mixture of ‘citizen’ and illegal alien families. These children were conceived to garner the largesse and benefits-without-work that this country offers. If it were up to me, these ‘citizens’ would be deported along with their illegal parents and their ‘citizenship’ revoked. WE DO NOT NEED THESE PEOPLE.
