They need a paypal account asap. As an e-commerce businessman there are many people who use nothing else to pay online. If you have a contact please let them know right away. I’m e-mailing them as well.

Yes, I did force myself to read your entire comment.

Apparently you did not extend me the same courtesy.

You are still harping on the re-assess thing. It’s not a bad thing. It’s what thoughtful people do during various periods in their lives.

Your main argument against Perry seems to be that he is not doing well in the race.

Well, duh, I can see that but it’s more a reflection of false perceptions of Perry that have been created and stuck than of Perry himself.

I get that you don’t like him. I get that you seem to be jealous of the fact that he inspires devotion, when your candidate can only inspire tolerance.

You say you ‘don’t care what his record is.’

Why not? A man’s record in the past is a pretty good indication of what he will do in the future.

Not to knock Newt just because you have no problem knocking Perry, but his record is strange.

And why do people like you always seem to feel compelled to knock Perry? If he’s doing as badly as you claim, forget him and try to go on with your life and we will all hope that we don’t end up with a second-rate candidate when we could have had a first-rate one.

“If his supporters are alienated by people pointing this out”

I’m not alienated at all. I think it’s constructive criticism. I bet he thinks that too. I think anything that helps him become an even stronger candidate will help our country as a whole. No candidate in the race compares to him in leadership. He will master the debate issue in time for Obama and Obama will not know what it him. Perry’s message is powerful but I’m suspicious that Herman Cain is taking his boisterous medicine show on the road again for the same reason he declared in the first place. We’ll learn soon enough if his efforts are all about stopping President Obama or all about stopping Governor Perry. It took only two weeks in his initial candidacy for him to speak the words that he would serve as VP for any of the candidates except Rick Perry. We’ll see. His fellow talk show hosts, except Rush, seldom mention Perry.

I read a lot of post and so many of them are attacking either candidates or those who post something positive about a candidate. I speak for only for myself and have never pretended to do otherwise and if you would have looked at my tagline you would know who I support. I don’t know who you support but from what I perceive to have been an attack on someone who is obviously for Newt I would guess it is someone else.

DeMint endorsed the SOB Romney in 2008. He thought
Romney was more “conservative” than McCain. Don’t guess
DeMint’s endorsement meant too much because McCain won the primary.

I don’t trust DeMint. Sarah Palin is the endorsement
that Newt needs.

Then you would be half right and half wrong. From earlier today:

Why Does Rick Perry Think He Can Win South Carolina?

Here’s the deal. mitt romney has played so down and so dirty throughout this entire process that his campaign has literally destroyed its opponents into oblivion. Rick Perry stepped out on the wrong foot, but his ideas are fantastic and should not be ignored. No one else could withstand the withering lies and underhanded rumors and insinuations fed to the media by romney’s opposition research, so what have we left?
We have Gingrich who I think is going to go out as a weapon aimed squarely at taking romney out knowing it will take himself out as well. (And if it DOESN’T take him out, (Gingrich,) then HE is the man.)
Perry still has a warchest and can afford to try again. Santorum is a very principled man and will also stand for us AS A CONSERVATIVE.
So from my point of view, let them have their shot. Trashing any of them only helps romney.
If Rick Perry can’t break out in SC, he will fold. That is just the way it is. But I ain’t going to trash him regardless. I would hope that someone else picks up on some of his better ideas and builds on them if he can’t do it himself.
IF he stays low as he is right now in the polls without making a good showing in SC and keeps going anyway, THEN I might be tempted to see him as a spoiler. But right now, it is ron paul and mitt romney who scare the bejeezus out of me and anyone who can take either one or both of them out gets my vote because beating romney is beating obama. Period.

Repost from yesterday:

I don’t know about anybody else, but I am sure getting sick of other people telling me who I MUST vote for as if I didn’t have a brain and a mind of my own. This ain’t Oz, my name ain’t Dorothy, and I ain’t on no yellow brick road in fantasyland.

For the same reason. If mitchell001 or anyone else wants to call, write, email, fax or whatever, fine, But to say we SHOULD because HE thinks so is arrogant. I have a right to decide for myself who I wish to support and this is now getting on my nerves.

My FRiend, I have very good perspective. And I have considered all that you mentioned.

Ask yourself this one question.

If collapse were completely inevitable within the next 5 years — that is, the collapse is inevitable regardless of who is in control of the executive and legislative branches and regardless of what policies they enact — who would you want to be in in control of those branches?

I want my enemies to be in control — ONLY IF THE COLLAPSE IS INEVITABLE. I want them to take full blame and I want the masses to know the communists/socialists for what they are so that they hang them at the edge of town the next time they start their tricks.

I’m not voting for collapse. I’m thinking ahead to the rebuild after what I consider the inevitable collapse.

This is a very complex issue, because if our enemies are in control, they will do what they can to destroy American sovereignty and put us under a globalized central bank and centralized governmental authority. If hardcore conservatives are in control, at least they will defend our sovereignty. To me, our sovereignty is the critical issue. However, I believe the collapse will be so destructive that the effort to globalize will not be possible because there will be so much civil unrest.

I haven’t made up my mind what I’m going to do. But I know that I will not simply “obey” the GOP ever again. They have destroyed that trust.

You certainly do and you also have the right to ignore those who implore you to vote for or support or take a particular action in favor of or against a particular candidate. Most of these comments aren’t directed at any particular FReeper unless they have been attacking another FReeper or his candidate. I doubt this article was directed at you personally, only those who would consider it to be a good idea.
