After spending at least 15 minutes on contraception and gay marriage, Newt finally had enough and told the media the bigotry question goes both ways and that theres more anti-Christian bigotry out there than there is concern on the other side that the media ignores:

Yes and that was a huge slam on Romney and his State and the news media bias. Loved it and heard it live!
Go Newt!!!
This was huge.
I was waivering between Newt and Santorum and this really won me over.
Go Newt!
I didn’t hear it live, and I’m not a really big Newt fan, but I certainly applaud him for that soundbite!
Newt is at least willing to take on the media.
Newt is a very clever boy. Not only did he get yet another opportunity to slam the media, he tailored his reply specifically to Obama’s stance against Catholic Church beliefs, thus appealing to the reasonably heavy Catholic blue collar population of NH.
Best line of the night and I’m not a Newt guy. Sadly for Newt it probably won’t gain him as much in NH as it would in SC or would have in IA. And even though it was the best line of the night it may be less recalled than Perry’s latest case foot in mouth disease. Methinks Perry is out of feet and munching on other parts here. His staff must be frantic, afraid he won’t last long enough for them to consume his stash.
Newt reminded people tonight why they liked him.
Santorum reminded people tonight why they didn’t like him.
Perry reminded people tonight that he needs to give it up.
Thanks for posting this video...I’ve been looking for it!
Good on Newt!
Newt always kills in these exhibitions. Sorry I can’t call them debates.
Hope he gets some good numbers out of this one.
NO ONE is nearly as articulate or passionate about this as Newt. It isn’t the only reason I support him, but it’s a biggie.
It was nice to hear Mitt faintly echoing what Newt said, though I doubt Mitt would have ever come up with it on his own (which is part of why I am not happy about the idea of Mitt taking the nomination).
I don’t know folks? This is pretty amazing. That was the most articulate and powerful defenses of Christianity in a public political forum that I think I have heard in all my 54 years. Who else talks like this??? He doesn’t just “stand” for conservative values, he “articulates” them with great clarity! Come on Newt bashers . . . just take a gander at this display. Do we not want this kind of argument being made EVERY DAY??
Newt hit that one out of park!
This should be moved to HEADLINE NEWS!!!
I saw it live too and started clapping, even though I was alone at the time, lol!
Mrs. Prince of Space
An appropriate response. I sometimes startle my dog with yelling, clapping, etc.
Newt has a checkered past like a big diner’s floor, but he’s also not afraid to get right in your face and say “what’s it to ya?!” Santorum is cleaner but seems to have a harder time making a case. (He still put in a yeoman’s job in Iowa. If he can keep it up, that might yet slant the race his way.)
