I've been saying since 2008 that the establishment would rather see progressives get elected than conservatives, and here it is. Romney is their guy, and they'll do whatever it takes to get him nominated, they'll smear anybody they can.

This is what we get for thinking we could cross the republicans, they're going to nuke some of our great conservative congress people too.

In 2010 I kept asking, are you sure you want Republicans to take the house from Pelosi? She is the lightning rod now. Do you want to lose that? The answer was always 'yes'. In fact many posts here in 2010 were saying that Obama would easily lose 2012 and may not even run. Well, welcome to reality.

Republicans won and took power without a real plan and without real leadership and they ignored the fact that bad economic times mean that voters want the Federal government to do something for them, or look like they are trying.

So as Obama put on the “Alls I want is jobs and what's good for the American people” act., Republicans acted like 2011 (the wasted year) was still 2010 and Pelosi was still in charge,

Here is a clue Republicans in congress : explain why you are better than Democrats AND SHOW THEM. Don't just assume you will win automatically.

I am Catholic, and if none of my choices are 100% ProLife, I have no obligation to vote and, hence, you will not find my vote on any list for Romney nor Obama nor Paul. I pray Santorum wins this nomination...if God gets enough prayer He will intercede here...if not, we deserve destruction.
