Ann Coulter Throws a Temper Tantrum (BARF ALERT)
Fox News | 01/22/2012 | Me

Posted on 01/22/2012 6:45:03 AM PST by stratboy

Ann Coulter was just on Fox and Friends. She was crying over the fact that Romney got decimated in South Carolina. She offered a few talking points from the Romney camp including:

1. Newt is the lease conservative of all Candidates running. 2. Newt is unelectable because of his failed marriages. 3. The Freddy Mac non-issue. 4. John K asked a legitimate question and he is a completely fair and honorable reporter. 5. South Carolina is going back to it democratic roots and backing someone who calls Obama a socialist.

She laid out the establishment talking point that everyone who voted for McCain, will vote for Romney, that we need to get the independents.

Britt is losing his journalistic credibility. He’s adopting a Bill Mayer mentality...selfish, angry, and willing to throw his viewing audience over the cliff. He, Ann, Karl, Neil and others are losing the fair and balanced moniker. Meet the Press was a decent alternative to Fox this morning.

Tacky indeed. Yet one is forced to reason why by the usually dependable Mr. Hume’s recent out-of-character, tacky behavior. The audience is quite fond of Mr. Hume, understanably, but he is someone who has a job to do for his audience and they depend on him to be professional.

Pundits are needed for their assistance in opinion-forming. Voters need to know the nature of any personal issues when the pundits include them in their commentary, or the pundits can just drop their issues for the occasion.

The voters know that candidates are human mistake-makers often with a lot of power, whose mistakes hurt or have hurt a lot of people.

The pundits will do well when they grasp the concept of forgiveness on this large scale - when they figure out why people are willing to forgive certain candidates. It’s not a group think thing. It’s about priorities and attitudes of everyone involved.

That’s just nature.

The spindly spinster was all a twitter with drivelous chatter. Her skirt was severely short for a woman her age. Her knees protruded through her hose disrupting the blackness sight line destroyer.

Perhaps like Mary Matlin she’ll capture a poisonous lefty. a boston Dandy is in her future no doubt

You can be a Social Conservative, a Religious Conservative, or a Fiscal Conservative. You can also be an hereditary Republican with roots back to the Abolitionist Movement.

Interesting enough coalition ~ but this business of reading the others out has a relatively recent history ~ and it's hurting the party.

Newt is the all time Champeen Of The World Fiscal Conservative. He balanced the US budget.

If we require that all Conservatives meet the demands of all the elements in the Conservative coalition we will not win elections.

The problem with Romney is he doesn't meet the requirements of any of the Conservative bodies inside the coalition.

I'm probably the only person on FR who actually meets all those requirements as well as having Republican roots back to the Abolitionists ~ including an orchard full of slavecatcher bones!

ALL my Great Great and some Great Great Great and some Great grandfathers served in the Union Army ~ and burned Souvr'n cities to the ground, and freed slaves.

That's a test Romney can't begin to match! Richard Nixon could ~ he's a cousin with family from the same place on the Underground Railway ~ and had cousins, if not ancestry, who fought in the war for freedom in Kansas and Nebraska.

Now, regarding Ann ~ she's jumped the shark here. But recently she's given up on Social Conservatism ~ maybe she imagines there are gays just aching to buy her books.

Ann, I put you in the same class as Piggy Noonan. I once agreed with you, admired you and now both of you can blow it where the sun don’t shine. You’ve sold out to the highest bidder and now nothing you say is anything I’m interested in hearing. Newt isn’t Conservative???.....but Mittens and Christie ARE??? Give me a break!!

Ann Coulter has been a consistent, dedicated warrior for the conservative cause. She is wrong about Romney, IMHO, but all this Ann-hate on FR is uncalled for. Just agree to disagree with her and leave the personal attacks for sites like DU.

Note to Ann:

Mormons rarely take on mistresses.

Find someone else to fall in love with from afar.

Marianne was also Newt’s MISTRESS during his first marriage.

She is accusing him from the top of the quicksand, IMO.

Ann Coulter is a coward and a traitor with her support of the Usurper. It's no wonder you support her.

Maybe. I think she started packing her bags when it became clear the Tea Party was for real.

I don’t support her on Romney. I think she got it totally wrong. She unfortunately believes his story about becoming more conservative over the past few years.

But she’s not a traitor. She has consistently fought and exposed liberals for the evil that they are and the values they don’t have. It’s sickening to see FReepers make vile, trashy comments about her. It’s not what FR represents.

“Ann Coulter has been a consistent, dedicated warrior for the conservative cause.”

No, she hasn’t. Ann Coulter has been a consistent, dedicated warrior...for Ann Coulter.

She burst on the scene in the 1990s opposing Clinton. In 2008, she supported Duncan Hunter, a conservative with no chance. When he evaporated in short order, she went straight to Mittens. I heard her trash Fred Thompson in the most insulting terms on Mark Levin. Levin had to correct her, which he rarely does for his guests.

I listened to her and Laura Ingraham together mock Sarah Palin and dismiss her as unelectable, when she was considering whether to run.

She pushed Chris Christie, a liberal, very hard and when he refused, she went straight to another liberal, Mitt Romney.

She is a faux conservative, an Establishment sock puppet who makes headlines by saying outrageous and often profane things. Why would any conservative pay any attention to anything she has to say?
