Mitt Romney favors working with the democrats to bring change. Where have we heard that before? No fight in him. Whatever the dems want they'll get. Romney is the ultimate aisle crossing consensus builder, ie, surrender monkey.
Proof: as Massachusetts governor he supported or didn't fight against abortion, gay marriage, liberal judges, gun control, global warming, socialized healthcare, etc.
Romney = Obama.
I would never give money to the ASPCA because the exterminate (”euthanize”) unwanted pets after a short time in their shelters.

Yes, not much fight in him...which means he is a lot like them. Go away Romney...just live your life without being a politician because conservatives do not want a weak man that will not stand for right!
ASPCA, like a lot of municipal “kill” shelters, euthanizes unadopted animals — but to be quite fair, makes no secret about it either.
PETA is truly despicable as they have taken advantage of emotionally fragile elderly people who are heartbroken at giving up their pet, and have LIED to these people promising to find the pet a home — then straight to the killing chamber the pet goes, without even exposing it to the public! Because PETA does not believe in animals being pets — they have taken it on themselves to play God.
Some veterinarians accept limited amounts of “no kill” pets. Mine does.
Thanks for the info. I knew PETA was wacky, I had no idea of the cruelty they were doing to animals and to human beings.
HSUS is a borderline-wacky agency too. Their position is midway between ASPCA and PETA — they would “prefer” that animals not be pets, but are resigned to the best compromise they can find while animals are pets.
Since the idea of pets dates back at least to biblical days — the domestic dog appears in the gospels — HSUS is smoking some wacky weed, though not as much as PETA.
Oh, and I adopted my latest cat, Timmy, from a county shelter that kills unadopted pets after about a month. But, they actually do surgeries where needed (he had an undescended testicle they had to get before he would truly be neutered) and they had this post-surgical cat in a tall roll-around tower of cages which jiggled while WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! was heard all around day and night from the big canines that shared the facility. I took pity on this tomcat and adopted him. He rewarded me by getting into fights with my other furry guy, Jimmy, marking when he lost the fights, and going after my spayed females like he never knew he’d been neutered. I still have the rascal.
