Newt is not afraid to get up on a debate stage and look Barry in the eye and call him a Sol Alinsky radical to his face. No other candidate will do that.

Ron Paul’s political philosophy is maddeningly incomplete, and that’s the giant spider (let alone a fly) in his anti-Fed ointment. The US can’t ignore the rest of the globe any more. And national sovereignty has to count for something — every other country cares about who comes in through its borders. A suicide of the GOP we do not want. If Newt too seems to smack of amnesty with his Hispanic municipal centers idea, at least he’s trying to think outside the box about how to mitigate the illegale problem.
