Once Beck began his crusade against Newt I stopped listening to him.

On the other hand he has no problem with Mitt Romneycare or SOPAtorum.

Maybe he thinks he’ll be overshadowed by a real fighter in charge?

Or maybe he’s just for Romney because of pure identity politics.

Nice letter, it’s a shame Beck will just tell you to throw away all his books.

Glenn Beck was unbelievably obnoxious and outright rude to an older woman caller yesterday.

Glenn Beck has time and again refused to engage in any polite sustained debate with any one who has a view differing from himself. I really found the mocking of the older woman yesterday to not only be ugly, it was just bad radio. I expected better from Glenn Beck and from Pat Gray.

Now Glenn Beck is welcome to get multiple callers to assuage and then massage his ego from the above criticism however, I am confident I am not the only person with this sort of criticism.

What is telling, is the limited discussion Glen does concerning Romney’s overwhelming liberal record.

And yet he can go on for days concerning Newt’s problems.

I’ve had to stop listening to Beck. Maybe if he gets enough letters like this, he’ll start to listen. Maybe.

He is not any better this morning. Seems to be doubling down on the the "I am right, and I'm pissed that you questioned me" thing. He gets really upset when people even suggest that he may be headed in a nonproductive direction. The lady yesterday did just that and he was so rude.

I loved it when he did that to the liberals..doing this to his fans (more specifically his pool of free information and contributors), well..it's not so great...and kind of dumb.

I seek a political Spartacus, one willing to wrap his clenched fists in gasoline soaked cloth, dip both hands in broken glass and once set ablaze, fight like hell to restore America with an intensity equal to the deep love I feel for my beloved wife and two precious daughters.

What a great line, however, appealing to Beck to become rational is wasting your breath.

Glenn Beck, once one of my favorite people, especially on the mall in DC, has had something go wrong in his brain.

This is a real mental disease that Glenn has developed.

You used to be able to discuss rational viewpoints with Beck, now he goes into a screaming rage.

When his back was hurt a couple of days ago, and Stu and Pat ran the show, I could listen to the whole thing.

When Beck is there, I can barely stand 15 minutes before I turn off Beck and go to quiet music.

The only thing left to do for Beck is pray, he is beyond reason.

You have expressed many of my feelings as well. I am a longtime listener to Glenn's radio program and I subscribe to his GBTV network. Lately, I have found it increasingly difficult to listen to his extended rants against Newt Gingrich - not because I think Newt lacks risks and problems as a candidate, but due to the disproportionate nature of Beck's responses to him.

There is something deeply personal about Beck's distaste for Gingrich and I think he is being (uncharacteristically) dishonest in avoiding the source of his dislike for the man. Mitt Romney is clearly and by any reasonable measure far more of a liberal Progressive than Newt, and yet, Beck continues to claim otherwise for reasons about which he is not coming clean with his audience - and which they deserve to hear.

Like him or not, he was a leading voice in the rise of the Tea Party movement. While you might disagree with his current politics, at least take his criticisms of Gingrich as a reminder that none of these candidates are perfect and we, as supporters or detractors, have to continue to question them. When a majority simply take a candidate's words at face value, we end up with a disastrous nominee and/or President, such as our current CIC.
