“looking at the old santorum is a little like looking at the old newt. “

I don’t see a similarity in this hemisphere myself.

Santorum has always been a FRAUD. He is a SOCIALIST. He believes that all his supporters are dumb people who can be fooled all the time (this is TRUE).

That’s wierd. There’s no news story. Nothing but a link to a flyer which you download and that shows the information. There is noting to verify where this came from other than that link. I can’t find a single news story breaking this flier. Why?

Yup.. and it only took about 2 seconds to load up this PDF, whereas it probably would have taken Adobe about 15-30 :p

;)

Right out of the gate ...

I installed Foxit Reader for the first time on my XP box.

The santorum pdf had opened fine in the Adobe product.

The Foxit is just loading and opening into a white screen. Waste of my time.

Gotta remove, etc. And my Adobe links will be crippled.

Next time I gotta ignore fr and remember: if it ain’t broken in the first place, don’t try to fix period.

” Like a Environmental solutions agency? “

Legislatively and historically the Newtron bomb obliterates any side by side match up with Santorum in delivering us more Republicans and for Republicans while in office. Santorum became a tool of the Establishment. Newtron enraged the Establishment. That is quite a delivery in itself.

What Newt elected to do to fund his several mini- institutions on his off time out of office and as a citizen pol is quite a different arguement but he has never let us down in office.

Let me guess. You are against having a clean Cheasapeake Bay, and think seniors should have their social security cut.

Or maybe you don’t like people who fathers were immigrants. Or maybe just Italians.

Or you oppose adult stem cell research, or don’t like regulating lobbyists.

Wait, there’s one bad thing — the Medicare prescription drug plan. Stupid Santorum, he went along with Newt Gingrich’s recommendation and supported that.

Are you single? Maybe you are upset that Rick worked to kill the marriage tax penalty. Childless? You probably don’t like the child care tax credit.

Or you are for puppy mills.

Maybe I’m reading you wrong. Maybe you are a strict traditionalist, and are mad that Rick Santorum’s wife had real jobs.

And he fought to enforce our immigration laws. We’re against illegal immigrant crackdowns now, right, because that would be inhumane.

OK, I’m teasing you a bit. There are certainly a few things on there that aren’t good. That’s what happens when you run for election in a democratic state, you have to emphasize some things that conservatives aren’t happy with.

But go ahead and attack Santorum all you want now — nobody can stop you, and nobody can counter with anything bad about Newt, and the race is over anyway so you are just rubbing it in and dividing conservatives.

Santorum is a much better conservative than Newt is. But Newt is the chosen one, and we are stuck with him. So enjoy your “victory” with the candidate nobody here at FR would give the time of day to 8 months ago, and who was being blasted by the site as late as 2 months ago.

We all know the truth. Gingrich is our only hope. He’s not our best conservative, he’s just what was left after we burned down the village.

Lol.. true that ;)

But I had no probs with it loading on my system.

I do use Photoshop, of course, but the reader was a pain.

Nice rant about nothing but an Environmental solutions agency would be taxpayer funded just like the EPA.

You going to tell me that it would be the first federal agency in the history of the world that actually helps business?

LOL

Can you tell me why there’s no news story on this? All this is a link with an adobe acrobat flyer downloaded. I don’t find a single story on this - especially if this is “devastating” news. It’s wierd.

While you’re enjoying your laugh, have some more of that Pennsylvania Kool Aide Rick is serving up. I betcha Romney will pay for both of you to have a slurpy together. Just watch out for the cherry ring that just formed above your lip.

I disagree. Some of it is devastating considering how he’s positioning himself.

BIG Stem cell supporter (ahem Mr. Pro Life)
Force companies to pay benefits after laying off workers.
Worked with McCain on all kinds of stuff. (brag)
Leading AIDS fighter with Bono
Led record levels of funding for public schools.
Led on Pet Welfare legislation
Led fair gas price act against gouging by oil companies
increase minimum wage legislation (union thuggery)
Increased funding for Head Start (epic fail)
Federal funding for PA firefighters (union thuggery)
Worked with Chris Dodd on legislation brag
Prevented cuts to food stamp program
Fought for more money for PA roads
Fought for money for PA bases
Legislation for college funds for kids
Brought fed funds for PA milk farmers

Wow, this would make Olympia Snowe proud. Lindsay Graham has never been this liberal in his wildest wettest dreams. Santorum is worse than I ever thought .

I think the Santorum supporters can at least take comfort in knowing that if Santorunm happened to be polling better than Newt right now, Santorum would be the official candidate of FR, and the Gingrich folks would be getting zotted.

Your guy isn’t accepted because he’s conservative, he’s just the only guy left to stop Romney.

Gingrich’s list of energy policies includes providing incentives for flex fuel vehicles that can use corn-based ethanol rather than gasoline — a key issue for Iowa’s farm economy.

Not in the sense of similarity of conduct, but I mean the principle. You can only tell so much about Newt, and the same goes for Santorum, by looking at stuff that’s years and years old. You have to look also at trends and at significant events (such as Newt’s voluntary re-churching).

There is no evidence that Santorum is the “better” conservative. He is a tepid conservative with questionable debate tactics. This flier is proof that the Santorum supporters aren’t thinking straight. If Newt’s history is a problem, then so should Santorum’s. Newt wins in the exchange because his history is stronger, and unlike Santorum, he actually has a platform which offers new and bold things (though not as bold as Cain’s). Santorum’s platform is tepid, just like he is.

Move along man. I’m saying this for your own good.
