I am calling all praying Freepers, Jewish and Christian, to this thread...as a place to gather to offer our prayers to God's Heavenly Throne for prayer for our nation. For prayers for Newt Gingrich, that he can withstand the forces of evil that are surrounding him.

Obama's acting like a dictator. Romney's just plain being mean. Some of the talk show hosts are disappointing us. Yet WE, few but mighty, can help our country and Mr. Gingrich through prayer. It's MY belief that we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place had we all been doing just that.

As I said in the first thread, this is a PRAYER thread...please come here to offer them to God. We need His help SO badldy. We've failed Him by allowing the leftists to chip away at our society. We've not gotten on our knees and asked for forgiveness for our sins.

God the Father of Mercies: you see how sinful and bloody-handed the West has become. Our countrymen have sacrificed the lives of your innocents to their own strange Gods of convenience. We ourselves are very far from what you intend us to be: selfish, judging, wrathful, self-absorbed.

Have mercy on us Father. Forgive us our many sins. However it comes about, please bring us a Conservative President who will be an enemy to tyranny and corruption, and who will act to protect the unborn.

We especially pray for Newt Gingrich. You know him Lord: all his vices and weaknesses, his secret chivalries, the true state of his soul: all these things are known to you.

If it is Your will may he win the nomination and go on to become the President of the United States.

I join in prayer for Newt Gingrich and our country.

... the bottom line is that our very souls are at stake, as is the soul of America. Are we going to betray God and continue to go along to get along with what we know is evil and wicked? God says "But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it.” (Jeremiah 12:17) God also says "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."(2 Chronicles 7:14).... We need God's help. We cannot do this alone. We are God's soldiers in this fight against the evil and wickedness that has invaded the very fabric of our culture and is bringing America to her knees. We need to get on our knees to keep America off of hers. God is with us, He loves us, He loves this country and has blessed it. Let us gather ourselves in prayer and then commit ourselves to action.
