RUSH: St. Louis. This is Greg. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hello.

CALLER: Hey, Rush. God bless you, buddy. Been listening to you for a long time, and, like you, I'm an expert at what I do. I've got a painting company, funny story, I have the ability to listen to you at different job sites, particularly residential job sites, and it's a hoot when I'm at a liberal's house painting with Rush Limbaugh on. It drives 'em crazy.

RUSH: I can imagine that. I've heard such stories, guys on ladders with the radio on where the owner can't get to it. The wife, in particular, just goes batty.

CALLER: Yep.

RUSH: Husbands, too. They can't do anything about it other than fire the painter, which they don't want to do.

CALLER: Right. Yeah. It's hysterical. It's really amusing. It's funny. I can almost tell neighborhood by neighborhood, you know, what kind of clientele I have and whether or not I'm gonna drive 'em crazy.

RUSH: How can you do that? How can you tell by neighborhood what kind of clientele you're gonna have?

CALLER: Yeah, well...

RUSH: Okay, you don't want answer, I caught you. The host caught you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, expert painter knows when he's going to a liberal neighborhood or a conservative neighborhood.

CALLER: You can tell.

RUSH: You can tell. Yep. Whether you got a car on concrete blocks in the front yard or not, I know.

CALLER: Yeah, right, right, especially election time when all the signs get put in the front yard, it's even more of a hoot.

RUSH: Yep.

CALLER: But, hey, the reason why I'm calling, you know, you're the guy that I listen to the most, and you're the guy that I get all my information from. I get why you couldn't endorse someone, but, boy, it sure would be helpful for me and your listeners for you, at the end of the day, say, "Here's the guy," because you're the expert, man. You know who's full of it, and you know who's legitimate, and it would be awesome if you would just, you know, come out and say, this is --
RUSH: Ah, see, wait a minute. You say you understand why I don't endorse. In fact, you said you understand why I can't endorse. And then you very sneakily and slyly try get me to endorse. If I tell you who I'm voting for, that's an endorsement. You're trying to tell me I can do that without actually endorsing anybody. Snerdley, I'm gonna tell you something. 'Cause Snerdley's behind this, folks. If I don't shut this down every call is gonna be somebody demanding or trying to pressure me. Snerdley is sitting in there thinking that I can change the outcome of elections if I would just say so. He really believes that.

You and I both know that's absurd, but he believes it. I'm just telling you, you could give me two more hours of this, I'm not gonna tell you. It isn't going to happen, because when this is all over, I am not gonna be in a position where my credibility is such that I can't support whoever the nominee is. 'Cause I am not voting Obama. I'm not supporting Obama. So whoever wins this, I can't sit here and pigeonhole myself in such a way that I don't have credibility supporting whoever the eventual nominee is, because Obama is the end result. I'll tell you right now, I'm not voting Obama. I'm the expert. And that's really all you need to know.

American Patriots of 2012 ... today in Florida, and across America .... from sea to shining sea .... we stand at the Crossroads of Destiny ...

We have ALEADY won today's "political battle" ... regardless of how the final Florida votes are tallied tonight ...

Why ?

Because as in "Lord of the Rings" ... the call to battle and Honor and Glory have (indeed) been answered ... from Patriots across this great land we call "America" ...

A gallant Call to Arms ... to Liberty, to preserve the Land that John Paul Jones defended as he cried-out "We Have Not Yet Begun to Fight" ...

Henry V ... in his St. Crispin's day Speech ... stood on the same kind of earth we see today ...

To the Ann Coulters, and her traitorous breed ... the Nikki Haleys, Mark Steyns, Bob Doles, Chris Christies ....

We "American Patriots" respond with:

"The (Traitor's) passport shall be made, and crowns for convoy put into their purse ...

"We would not die in their company whose fellowship they fear to die with us" ...

Let's us resolve ... this day ... to WIN the BATTLE for America's Renaissance of Liberty, Prosperity ... and Discovery to the Stars created by The Almighty ...

God Bless America !

In totality, Rush has been and remained neutral, as he should.

You claim that he is neutral, I read the transcripts like Bloody Thursday, and see him as anti-Newt.

Rush was not so coy last time, we knew that he despised the front runner, and supported Mitt Romney.

Even if he is suddenly "neutral" which he is not, why is "neutral" suddenly OK when Romney is so favored for 2012?

That’s not exactly a widely known issue. I would say well less than 1% of the electorate consider that an issue because they don’t even know about it...in fact that was first I’ve heard of what you just outlined in that great of detail.

If I had known that Santorum voters were romneybots, I would have challenged them every time they tried to pass themselves and Santorum off as conservative.

No wonder so many of them spend time trying to stop Romney’s only real opponent.

No, that's his brother David who does endorse Santorum. Want to see the proof, then read here

I don’t know who Rush will support, but I noticed today that he calls Romney and Santorum by their last names and newt by his first.
May mean nothing, may not.

Cheers,
Jim

I think they’d probably split down the middle.

I would tend to agree with that. I'm sure there is some real variation of the number but who the heck knows what it is.

My point with Rush was that it was just an opinion without an agenda.

If I could place a bet, not that we'll ever really know anyway, Rush is voting for Gingrich....just MY opinion.

But the bottom line it wouldn't matter who he supports or endorses, it wouldn't change my vote what so ever.

I listen to him because I respect his point of view, I don't vote because of who or what he says.

I do happen to agree with him most time though.

That's about as absurd as it gets.

You can never discuss anything rationally - always just insult people who are just trying to have an adult conversation and make ridiculous accusations and attacks like this. Childish. Grow up and get real.

Exactly, and that is what Rush is doing, inform people. He said many times that he will not endorse anyone during the primaries, and he is correct not to, although his brother thinks otherwise, but that’s his privilege. My take is if you need anyone to tell you who to vote for, then you shouldn’t be voting period.

As you can see above, because by merely having an analysis that differs from what ansel wants to be true vs. what is probably actually true, we are now “Romneybots” in disguise, even though I made quite clear Newt is my next choice...but I can’t speak for Santorum voters out there in the heartland as a whole and what reasons they would have for voting one way or the other. I now recall previous run-ins with ansel that went the same way - if you even merely speculate on how people’s minds may or may not behave and it differs from what he/she wants to be true, you are to be belittled and defamed for absolutely no reason other than you said something different what he /she did. It’s ridiculous.

I listen to him daily, I hear the ENTIRE show in totality. Rush has been neutral.

I don't know how often or HOW MUCH of the show you are able to hear but you can't cherry pick segments and accuse him of bias in way or the other.

Overall, he has been fair and even in criticism as well as complimentary views of all candidates. (Except for maybe Paul)

Did it ever occur to you that some people don’t want Romney OR Newt? We’re inevitably going to be stuck with one of them but that doesn’t mean we have to like it.

I think Rush and big chunks of the “Right Media” have signaled that when the GOP decides, that is who they will promote. Rush has made clear his goal is unseating Obama, regardless of who they replace him with.

The 50% to the majority who would vote for Romney are romneybots.

You said 50%, Rush said the majority, personally, I think you guys are nuts, all this time I always assumed the Santorum voters would turn to Newt after Rick drops out, I still believe that.

You made a nice personal attack, but anyone who will vote for Romney is, well, the type of person who can vote for Romney, why defend them?

As you can see above,

Indeed, that is quite telling from ansell2.

And yes, now that I recall, I believe I've had my, ahem, debates with him/her as well.

All I can say is that I pray God is still giving America his blessings....we NEED them desperately!

Bishop Romney and Mormonism is a nuclear bomb that the media is keeping on the shelf for right now, it is wild beyond your imagination.

Mitt Romney himself, will become a GOD, an actual God with worshipers and followers and a planet to rule over, he will be polygamous as God, his wife’s after life will be decided by Mitt, he can choose to allow her to enter in to the after life, or not. Mitt’s wives will be producing celestial children for Mitt.

I guess you know that as a Priest, religious teacher, missionary, counselor, Bishop, Stake President, and expected to become higher in the church, Mitt Romney, taught the religion’s racist theology until about a year after the movie “Star Wars’ came out, the year “Animal House” was released.

I think that against a Chicago trained, black President, some of this may come up, you know, just a little bit.

The idea that Santorum’s people would choose a, radically pro-gay, passionatly pro-abortion, anti-Christian cult leader over a born again Catholic convert from an indifferent Christian back ground, seems too incredible to believe.

I have decided to go with my instinct and not vote for Newt in the primaries, and because I have always liked Rick Santorum I will vote for him on March 6

For whatever reason;or for those he continues to share - Rush prefers to be seen 'all over the map' this election. He does speak of how 'last time' he was both accused and given credit for; McCain's win/loss per Primary and subsequent election.

He is not alone; however; you surely had to notice that despite Cain's endorsement of Newt; when pushed in interview at Fox News; he ended up giving up some 'good will' to Mitt. (Made me furious, actually; but no; there are more doing same. Witness, Sarah Palin, as well; who while praising Newt and clearly wanting him to win; nonetheless; compliments Mitt on his abilities per leadership.

They are all making me ill!

Perhaps; like Rush; today's endorsement can too easily be used as a 'kiss of death' and they do not want to give the Left/Dems. . .the satisfaction.

Meantime; our Repub Party, is beginning to look like the Costa Concordia. It is all too pathetic.
