At this point, Santorum’s only role is to make sure Romney gets the nomination.

Santorum is the hero of the RINO establishment.

His honor is yet salvagable, and he knows this.

Just as he's always been. Amazing to me that people have been putting so much lipstick on this turd, trying to dress him up as something he isn't.

Santorum is the logical one to drop out, and consider his options at a future time.

He’d probably be better than Paul or Greengrich IMHO... But I wish someone with enough resources and excitement would still step up to the plate!!! (and not Christie, either)

why do you believe that Santorum is acting as spoiler for Romney? That’s a pretty strong charge, especially since Rick Santorum has a more conservative voting record than Gingrich! The major stumbling block to his campaign is the same as Newt’s; cannot come up with the funds to finance counters to Romneys smear campaigns. I think YOU are going to deserve four more years of Obama.

“why do you believe that Santorum is acting as spoiler for Romney?”

That’s what black helicopters will do to one.

Santorum’s new ad should be called “Deal, or NO DEAL!!!”

Santorum is not only the clear alternative to Romney, he is the only alternative to Romney. Gingrich has a virtually impossible shot at clinching the nomination (see below link) besides the sobering fact that in a diverse state like FL (a key battleground state that Obama carried in 2008), he lost among all major demographics and suffered a massive 20-point deficit among female workers. And Santorum is telegenic, has mid-western roots, is Catholic, and could haul in Reagan Democrats. Besides, as favorite son, he will carry PA.

Santorum rated 89 by ACU, 11 BY Unions. Put some lipstick on that yoyo.

Why must you be so vulgar in your vehemet adamacy??? You sound like he’s personally jilted you in some personal or business relationship. What’s up with that???

This is a sick game, and conservatives are being played by the establishment, Fox News, Limbaugh, Drudge and possibly Santorum himself.

Santorum looks better than he would if he were on the receiving end of some of the incoming which was directed at Newt. When one isn’t attacked, he can appear to be above the fray.

Santorum is definitely better than Romney, but the reality is not quite what the more recent perception of him has been.

Geeze - Santorum couldn’t even bother himself to go back to FL during the voting. Instead he knew that he had NO chance, and so he had drifted off somewhere else to begin fresh. Newt at least hung in and faced the music, gave a positive speech afterward.

Why is Santorum, who seems to be a nice enough man, (if you can overlook much about his record) running around campaigning when even he admits he hasn’t any chance UNLESS Newt drops out? And, ah, he knows Newt WON’T drop out.

Why?

It looks to me like your “reason is faith” has turned into nothing but “self-righteous certitude,” dude!!! Do you have Rush envy, or something???
