Fox Chicago News Anchor Echoes Curry's Concern for Caroline Kennedy

Yesterday, NewsBuster Kyle Drennen detailed how NBC Today co-host Ann Curry fretted about the latest Kennedy scandal's impact on Caroline Kennedy. "What about Caroline, who is still alive?" she asked John F. Kennedy mistress Mimi Alford.

Last night on Fox Chicago News, anchor Bob Sirott picked up on the same theme in his "One More Thing" opinion segment:

"I wonder if she (Alford) feels guilty now about how President Kennedy's only living child Caroline might feel about her story?"

Who cares what Caroline Kennedy thinks about this or anything else?

It's diificult to discern among the "ahhh..errrs you know, well you know errs...like you know"

Similarly, I wonder if Mary Jo Kopechne’s family feel guilty that she ruined Fat Ted’s presidential aspirations.

I truly believe some of the leftist scum on TV (Curry, Step-on-all-of-us, etc...) would actually ask her family that question, if given a chance!

I mean it was already speculated in some news reports that Mary Jo was probably happy to give her life that day - or something to that effect! I made me want to puke when I read it then, and thinking about it now makes me want to puke!

You have to wonder why this old whore came out 50 years later with her sordid story. And yes, she is a whore. It wasn't an affair - she was merely a sperm receptacle for the odious JFK. What kind of man who cared about a woman would have her "service" one of his aides while he watched?

She must really need the money. Her grandchildren must be so proud :-(

I would actually be very interested in Caroline Kennedy’s reaction and feelings... about this revelation about her father (when she was a toddler romping around the Oval Office) taking a young girl’s virginity and having that same young girl service one of his staffers... about her Uncle Teddy ending the life of another young intern with nary a qualm, nor a blip in his “public service life”... about her cousin who raped that girl down in Florida with Uncle Teddy running around the apartment... We’ve been living with these sainted Kennedys for 60 years and I’m frankly sick of them.

Yes its amazing to lister to her speak---she sounds rather uneducated. I didn't expect this from a Kennedy. Then again I cut Caroline a lot of slack--her family was torn apart by tragedy. As long as she stays out of politics I'm cool with her dumbed down speech and wish her well.

Nice how they are all concerned about a woman of a fify-ish age. Too bad these slime weren’t a bit more concerned about the abuse of power by JFK on a minor child (in those days 19 was still a minor). In fact it would have been considered rape in those days....but not to worry, he is our hero. Un-friggin-believable

For what it’s worth, the woman was challenged by Barbara Walters on The View today. Did she think of Caroline Kennedy? Why did she put into print a story that did not need to be told?

The JFK intern said she needed to free herself from the burdens of living with a secret for so long, and is hopeful her story is helpful to others who are suffering from keeping a secret.

Also, she was outed in a previously published book, and wanted to be in control of her own story, rather than let someone else define her.

So where was Kennedy’s concern for his daughter when he was banging everything that moved.

This is the old left-wing game “Blame the Victim”. Look what that nasty woman is doing to poor Caroline! Does she have no DECENCY?

We should have anticipated that the “original” Monica would get the same treatment as the actual one!

Just as in Clinton's case, "it was only sex", in Gingrich's case, it's BLASPHEMOUS and SHOCKING! No double standard in Lib's world....

The difference is Clinton ran as a 'Third Way' candidate. He didn't run as a conservative, especially social conservative, as Newt does now. People are judged according to what they say and do. It is us who apply double standard in this case. We talk about family values, morality, fidelity in marriage, etc., and yet we look the other way since we think Newt would beat 0bama.

"we look the other way since we think Newt would beat 0bama"

I'm not talking about the FACT that Newt is compromised due to his OWN actions; I'm talking about the double standard when these issues go public.

In the case of Klintoon, there was NO OUTRAGE on the Lib side, no finger-pointing and chastising, and he had sex with a subordinate on MY DIME, then LIED ABOUT IT (waving his finger at me), and was NOT PROSECUTED FOR PERJURY.

Whereas, notwithstanding the illegal phone intercepted call that was SOLD TO THE MEDIA to bring Gingrich to an Ethics Complaint, which is TRUMPETED IN THE STATE-RUN-MEDIA, the Arkancides, Juanita Broderick, Katy Mahoney, Kathleen Willey, Jennifer Flowers, etc., etc., were all NO REASON TO ATTACK Klintoon, in the eyes of the Left.

The double standard is my complaint, and I don't condone the activities of Gingrich, either.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree that they didn’t attack Clinton as much as they did to Newt. While it indeed shows their double standard, I must say part of it is what the men represent, respectively. Newt supposedly represents social conservatism, so it’s not surprising that he was attacked viciously on that area for his actions. To be fair, some of the liberals, like feminist Naomi Wolf, saw what Clinton did. My tag line below is a a play of what she said regarding Clinton.

The JFK intern said she needed to free herself from the burdens of living with a secret for so long,

BS.So it's all about "herself" and her "burden" - no concern for the embarrassment for her own children and grandchildren? Did they need to know that Grandma was the president's slut?

Most families have secrets. Most of the time, these things are better left secret.

Theories circulated that Marilyn Monroe was wacked because she felt jilted by Johnny and Bobby and was going to blow the whistle on their affairs. Why did Mimi wait so long did she think there was somebody in the wings with an order to get her if she said anything?

Carolyn doesn't remember much about her father since she was only 7 or so when he died. Most of the stuff she knows about her father came to her 2nd and 3rd hand and with a lot of filters. Time she hears the rest of the story.
