Billionaire Gingrich Contributor [Sheldon Adelson] To Cut Support
Business Insider ^ | February 10, 2012 | Jaywon Choe

While billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson may have rescued Newt Gingrich’s campaign in its early days, today, he may have just buried it.

Bloomberg News reports that Adelson, who has donated $11 million to Gingrich’s Super PAC, does not plan to send any more money Gingrich’s way. Bloomberg is citing an anonymous source “familiar with their deliberations,” though an Adelson spokesman declined to comment.

The move seems to be weeks in the making. After poor showings by Gingrich in the last several races and the re-resurgence of Rick Santorum, the former House speaker has once again been pushed to the back of the Republican field. And Adelson may be shifting his focus. According to CNN, Adelson met with Mitt Romney in Nevada last week and “assured Romney that he will be behind him 100 percent should he become the nominee.”

What may be more alarming though is as money seems to be flooding out of the Gingrich camp, it appears to be heading into to Santorum’s, no doubt helped by his three-state sweep Tuesday.

National Review magazine has called upon Newton Leroy Gingrich to vacate the race. I don't know particularly why in that he is no threat their their endorsed candidate. I remains to be seen what our little Republican primary voters will do, but they do know whose turn it is.

That's pretty dang funny coming from you!

Too bad that you don't like facts. His voting record in the Senate is public and Santorum is not fiscally conservative.

Look, the founder of Tea Party Nation endorsed Newt; Todd Palin who is married to the Tea Party sweetheart endorsed Newt; Allen Olson, Chairman of the Columbia, SC Tea Party endorsed Newt; Patricia Sullivan, the Fla. Statewide Tea Party leader endorsed Newt; Pete Lee founder of the East side Tea Party in Orlando endorsed Newt and Cain who was a Tea Party favorite endorsed Newt.
I still say Santorum has not been vetted yet. He has been given a free pass by the media, super pacs, establishment republicans (Santorum is the epitome of big govt) and he did garner some sympathy votes in regards to his daughter.
IF Fla did the right thing and awarded Newt his fair share of delegates. Newt would be UP there. Santorum has never faced such obstacles.
IN Colorado only 1 % of eligible voters voted and Santorum recieved 0 delegates; in MN only 2% of eligible voters voted and he received 0 delegates; in MO only 6% of voters (Newt not on ballot) and he recieved 0 delegates. He is just the flavor of the month getting ready to go sour soon.
I prefer a man that bucked Bush 41 on tax hikes; fought for welfare reform; the contract with America; Gop revolution (which thanks to Newt ..Santorum was swept into congress under) over a big earmark man that brags about tossing our money to the winds; a man that voted to not only fund but increase funding to the NEA; a man that endorsed Romney, Spector, Sonia Sotomyer for circuit court; and Santorum was cited for his pork spending by citizens against govt waste for his 90 MILLION dollar deal with Hillary and Lieberman to study what effect watching tv has on children! NO THANKS TO LITTLE RICKY! GO NEWT!

There should be no contest between Rick and Newt. Newt equals the contract with America, welfare reform, GOP revolution and Santorum equals “King of Earmarks” irresponsible on fiscal policy and more.

GO NEWT! Let the vetting of Santorum come into full play. He won’t get a free pass on FR. The hope of our country is at stake.

Santorum on ‘Immigration’:

Voted against increasing the number of immigration investigators.

Voted to allow illegal immigrants to receive the earned income credit before becoming citizens.

Voted to give SSI benefits to legal aliens.

Voted to give welfare benefits to naturalized citizens without regard to to the earnings of their sponsors.

Voted against hiring an additional 1,000 border partrol agents, paid for by reductions in state grants.

Well just his immigration votes should be enough to give people pause ....looks like he has no problem with immigrants being on the dole!
