It used to be that when people took government jobs, they expected to take it in the shorts on salary in exchange for dependable employment with excellent benefits and retirement. Not anymore, everyone wants to have their cake and eat it too.

And doesn’t the “overrepresentation” of minorities working for the government constitute a “disparate impact” and isn’t it a sign of discriminatory hiring?

As the wife of a federal employee whose work is devoted to critical national security issues, I am disgusted at the hateful comments. And yes, given what is going on in DC his morale is pretty low but he still suits up and goes in everyday or gets on that airplane every week (many weekends) and does his best for this country and our family - in that order
1). If I knew my job was meaningless and a waste of tax payer money, I would have low moral, too.
2). I honestly don’t care about their moral. They are sucking the life blood out of our nation. They are paid higher than the average none government worker who actually generates the money to pay their extravagant salaries and benefits.
just the fact that there is an actual radio station in DC devoted entirely to Federal employees whining about their concerns tells you all you need to know.
