won't take much to kill us all off..
hubby and I are almost 70 and 75 years old...been retired almost 10 years and have NEVER struggled as we do now...and with one more raise in our secondary health care and we will drop it and take our chances...with the rise in food and gas we can no longer keep up...
we put both our adult kids through college, always had a summer home in the country, life was fun and we worked hard..and B.Hussein O. will be sure to make us suffer in the end... Damn I miss George W. Bush..

This administration is obsessed with abortions and birth control, funding Plan Parenthood.
Obama brought with him a
science Czar with extreme Eugenics views.
Obamacare is rationing by committee and a cost analysis of what can be approved. (red pill)
I still cant understand why the house helped pass payroll cuts to social security.

“I still cant understand why the house helped pass payroll cuts to social security. “
Because the GOP is just as contemptuous of the intelligence and patriotism of Americans as the democrats, and “afraid” people would vote democrat if they didn’t get their $40 per paycheck tax relief extension
So now we are beyond underfunding Social Security/MEDICARE and workers are eating the seed corn even before the inevitable upcoming famine bursts on the scene

Senior citizens are a large voting block. There is so much that our GOP candidates and their Super Pacs could do in campaign ads and stump speeches with the facts in this article. It is a golden opportunity to rally all those seniors, many of whom are more traditional democrats, behind a GOP candidate who shows them the truth of those facts.

obama lashes out at everything, except obama.
I think there is a spoiled, infantile mind in that man-child that is so filled with hatred that nothing he can destroy will ever be enough.
He seems to be totally and perpetually angry about his lot in life, which was fueled by hard leftists and communists to the point that he went full metal jacket long ago.
Anyone who thinks he will do better, or even do different with a 2nd four years, is as looney as he is.
He has become well known, he has his lifetime pension, and now he can waltz into the sunset singing "Sweet Home Chicago" all the way back to Chitown.

These are the folks who once thought this would be the Golden Years when their years of hard work and savings and pension plans would let them live the good life, in places that are sunny and warm.Actually, after LBJ declared his "War on Poverty" and opened the SS "lockbox" (LOL!), most thinking Baby Boomers knew that was never going to happen.
We still know that we are going to get screwed by the government on our SS benes.

Here's a more basic question. Why are the first things politicians of either 'party' want to cut is SS and military pensions?
When was the last time you heard a politician mention that illegals cost US tax payers NET $1/4 - 1/3 trillion per year, low wage immigrant households are subsidized by NET ~$20,000 per year, US taxpayers subsidize fixing up Mexican trucks to compete with american truckers, we pay tuition for Chinese science majors and Indian post docs, we fix up mosques overseas, . . . ?

and with one more raise in our secondary health care and we will drop it and take our chances..Have you looked into
Medicare Supplemental plans?
Depending on where you live, some plans are as cheap as $50-$70 a month.
Plan N, is the most popular and runs about $90-$120 a month.

You’re right, I think. Our candidates should be making a big, huge hairy deal out of this. Because it is!
Number one on the list (depress interest rates) has been killing me for the past several years now. Cutting my annual income almost overnight by about 90% has been damn scary.

For some of us on SS, that premium represents 10% +_ of our monthly check. $120 a month is is over 11% of my check each month. I never applied for part B or Part D.
The last raise we got represented $39 to me & the prior amount ws frozen for 3 years. The cost of my propane alone has eaten up that increase by 300%.

Well, what about Medicare Advantage plans (part C)?
I think they require part B participation ($100/mo), but some Advantage plans cost very little, some are actually free and some include Part D coverage.
