The Quincy Jones connection gave Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich another song placement with Lesley Gore. Hal Blaine’s percussion work is nothing less than stellar. There were two versions of this song released with different percussion and background vocal tracks. The individual who produced this video edited the two versions together to make a seamless whole. Kudos! A fine job!

Hope you get that chance. Hubby just turned under his “cover crop” earlier this week. Not sure what he’ll plant wnen it’s become mulch.

We will have stricter water rules in April. Only HAND water
for 2 hours a WEEK. We’ll be lucky to keep our trees alive
if we don’t get rain. sigh

Embarrassment time! I’m not conversant with MP3 linking, but if you intervene, the link will work. First, click on the link. This will take you to "The page you requsted was not available”. Go into the URL address, and delete the %22 characters at the very end, right after the mp3 characters. Press Enter, and this should invoke the MP3. I can’t figure out how that %22 got into the URL address. It’s not a part of the href. Thanks to AZamericonnie for coming up with this MP3. Youtube only had it in Japanese.
