Sec. Panetta, Get Rush Limbaugh Off Armed Forces Radio NOW! (Petition on Whitehouse.gov!)
Whitehouse.gov ^ | March 4, 2012

Posted on 03/05/2012 12:18:59 PM PST by rightwingintelligentsia

It is not bad enough that he provides partisan blather, that he demeans our President.

He has regularly demeaned women.

His remarks this week were well beyond the pale of what should be broadcast to our military and their families, supported with our tax dollars.

We have a moral objection to our tax dollars being used for such a purpose.

You should move immediately to cancel any further broadcast through government facilities of his venom.

There is no excuse for the US Government, in any capacity, giving this man an audience.

Did any of you know that Whitehouse.gov hosts a "petition" site? Me, neither. Outrageous.

Exactly. Never mind Panetta - we have the President and Commander-in-Chief (so-called) wallowing in the mud with the partisan hacks personally calling Fluke to apologize. I mean, don’t these people have anything IMPORTANT to do? No wonder the country is in such a sorry state. Between the clowns in the media and the clowns in DC, it’s a wonder we’re still standing. I bet the thin-skinned obama has nothing better to do than read blogs on his blackberry all day to see what everyone is saying about him..

It’s like wack-a-mole. You try to argue for religious freedom, you end up in a trap apologizing to a slut. You apologize to the wench, then you end up having to defend free speech ...

GD-it, it’s just UNRELENTING with these basturds!!!!

I am sorry but this sucks big time. When you are over in another country and have zero radio except for the various language channels that you don’t understand, hearing the Armed Forces American Radio is such a great gift. I know they are not talking about taking away the channel but to take Rush off the radio is not right for the very listeners who are fighting for the United States. I think might be the worst thing that Obama is deciding because it will screw with the morale of the troops and also cause people to be upset when they need to concentrate on winning the war or protecting the country they are in. THIS SUCKS!!!!!

Is that the White House web site or the pornography site attempting to emulate the name of the website? (Of course with this Administration, there probably isn’t much difference in substance.)

This was why Rush apologized folks. He figured on a full court “leftist” press, and he rendered it moot, with the apology.

I believe Obama’s people reworked that site to allow any nutjob to post a petition on nearly any subject.

Some enterprising souls have posted GREAT petitions there... one of them says, “Resign”. (that’s the whole petition)

I’m not registering with them, but for those with a “junk” email account where you don’t mind them knowing it, you could have some fun.
