The fact is they thought they were hurting Rush and they have only damaged themselves in the process. This is a big hit for them and their holders aren’t happy. People aren’t going to forget this anytime soon.

Watching live stock price of Carbonite. Some investors may be fleeing. Just watched a nice drop to -9% then a recovery to a current -7.2% This is definitely more than today’s market trend.
I do see a silver lining to this. The companies dropped Rush. Rush’s audience will drop the companies. The companies will have a lot LESS to donate to the Democrats.
CARB now down 9% on the day. Here’s a typical comment from a company message board:
“This stock will see the pink sheets soon
CEO jumped the shark by dumping Rush and raising the Wrath of his listeners
CEO has double standards which only means double speak which means he can NOT be trusted with money or files..
NEVERMIND GOOGLE is launching DRIVE”
This is not what inspires investor confidence. Count on Drop Box and Google to put the pedal to the metal now that Carbonite is weakened.
It costs almost as much for CARB to acquire a customer as they will get in payments for the first year ($55), so you can easily see their success depends on retaining customers for more than a year - otherwise they lose money or break even.
Who cares if they return to Rush’s program? He certainly doesn’t and neither do I. Let them fail.
We have the only weapon that will make ANY difference - simply cancel your service or do not start one, and do business with their competitors instead if you want this kind of service. Free markets work, here’s a chance to prove it!
I'm confused about that list.
Various posts claim Allstate pulled their Ads, yet they aren't on the list. There were some posts yesterday that claimed Vitacost pulled their Ads (with alleged posted replies from Vitacost that indicated that they indeed had pulled their Ads because of the Fluke incident), and they aren't on the list either. Does anyone understand the discrepancies?

I don't think too many libs buy power tools.
The first power tool I bought for my first house over 20 years ago was a Craftsman radial arm saw. Still works great.
