Was Boy in K.C. Fire Attack a Victim of His School's Racist Teaching?
American Thinker ^ | March 7 2012 | Selwyn Duke

Posted on 03/07/2012 1:15:04 AM PST by wintertime

The boy raised his hand, eager to answer the question. "What would you know about it?" exclaimed the teacher dismissively. "You're not our race." This was not dialogue from a Hollywood movie. According to a woman named Melissa Coon, it was what a teacher at East High School in Kansas City told her 13-year-old son, Allen, when he attempted to answer a question during Black History Month. Coon identifies that teacher as Mrs. Karla Dorsey, who is black; Allen is white.

As has already been reported, Allen was a victim of a vicious racial attack last week in which two older black teens doused him with gasoline and set him alight, saying, "This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy." Not surprisingly, Coon has pulled her son out of East High and, concerned about further racial violence, intends to leave the K.C. area.

While this crime is making headlines, Coon states that it was merely the horrible culmination of continual racial harassment her son had to endure at East High.

Yeah, it’s funny how “what’s the school district like” doesn’t get asked when you homeschool.

We located a nice piece of property in an rural/ag area,
and didn’t once think that we’d be putting our kids in a sub-par school.

I see only one way to go, from experiance. I believe that raising children well is more important than anything else in life. It is only for a short time and you only get one chance.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Homeschooling is the most ideal way to rear children to a well-educated, and emotionally secure and successful adulthood. It's becoming obvious now that there are so many formerly homeschooled adults thriving and contributing to their communities.

Yes,....It is true. Some children will need to be institutionalized for their schooling. It is a shame. We need orphanages, too, but no one is claiming that orphanages are the best places to rear and educate children.

What’s amazing is that you’re correct. There are people who are unable to have successful marraiges and even unable to sustain friendships due to their experiences in school. Some young adults reject and shun their parents due to conflicts about school when they were younger. Others are unable to find direction in their lives and drift from place to place, job to job, and relationship to relationship. They sometimes resemble former inmates who struggle to adjust to life after prison. In a few caes, they resemble traumatized prisoners of war.

Sadly it is the parents who most often blamed for these social pathologies. Why isn't it clear? If we treat children like prisoners we will see prison pathology!

By the way, I wonder if the rise in divorces tracts with the shutting down of parent controlled, one room schools, small neighborhood schools, and increased consolidation small school districts into huge county-wide mega-systems? ( Just wondering)

“Start where you are at, but don’t stay there.”

Make an egg salad starting with rotten eggs, and those who eat it will get sick. Sometimes it is important to throw out the ingredients!

Our government schools are built upon a foundation of rotten ingredients:

1) The are a socialist entitlement!

2) At their very best they offered up a generic and lukewarm Christian worldview. ( What does Christ do with the lukewarm? He spits them out of His mouth!) . Today, they are utterly godless.

3) They are compulsory, and treat children like prisoners.

4) Every First Amendment Right in any government owned and run school is completely trashed!

5) Government schools are not now and never have been religiously neutral.

6) Most government owned and run schools even look like minimum security prisons.

So....We should not be surprised to see a society that is very sick.

What a hypocrite.
^^^^^^^^^^^^

Obama is not a hypocrite. He is merely following Alinsky’s Rules. What better way to cause class and racial division than compulsory, godless, and socialist-entitlement schooling for the masses.

Down on the Animal Farm, Obama’s children get to go to the school in the farmer's private school. The masses go to school in the barn. OINK!

I would hope the parents will hire a lawyer who believes this to be true.

We are looking at a Catholic school because we don't want our grandson facing this meat grinder

Most Catholic school teachers attended the same colleges of education as their government school colleagues. They are just as indoctrinated in Marxism as any government teacher. Also, many Catholic colleges, such as my alma mater, Villanova, are neck deep in Liberation Theology. They break the First Commandment every day by worshiping Marx instead of God.

My daughter taught at a Catholic K-8 school. All of the teachers and the principal voted for Obama. This is a man who voted three times to withhold palliative care to infants born after a botched abortion. Imagine that! **Catholic** TEACHERS voted for a man that would allow infants to shiver to death while gasping for air while lying in the bottom of a stainless steel hospital utility room sink! My daughter was the **only** teacher who held her regular class during the Obama inauguration.

Warning! Not all Catholic schools are created equal!

However....There are some hopeful movements among believing Catholics. Some Catholic families are joining together, hiring a teacher, and running their own independent one-room schools. ( Great idea!)

Nothing would please me more than to see every Catholic child in this nation receive a truly Catholic education.

Finally.....Have you considered homeschooling your grandson? It really isn't hard. What a wonderful gift that you could give to your grandson that would last an eternity.

I had some of these thoughts earlier today about the environment. Most envirowackos would claim my large family is using up too many resources. But I don’t send my kids to school on a bus everyday, we don’t participate in a million activities outside the home, we rarely eat out and are growing our own fruits, nuts and veggies(we’re adding to our garden this year.)

The commute for my husband is so much easier where we live now. If only he could work from home!

People got mentally beat down to accept this stuff for as long as they did before it got to this point
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Non-stop propaganda will do that to people. Yuri Besmenov warned us that the very goal of communist “demoralization” was to make people incapable of seeing, understanding, or believing truth even when it stood naked before them.

Government schooling has **always** been about propaganda from its very first days.

If conservatives, Christians, and conservative Jews continue to send their children into the nation’s socialist-entitlement and godless schools there will be **NO** CWII.

Bet on it!

The parent just has to figure out that the option of turning their kids over to the government during the day is no longer the “best” option that they thought it was.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Please remember that Yuri Besmenov warned us about communist “demoralization”.

Our nation is so “demoralized” that far far too many parents can not recognize the evil of government schooling even when children stand in flames right before their eyes. This is true even for believing so-called “conservative” Christians and Jews.

Drill down:
Lucifer> Saul Alinsky> Bill Ayers> Karla Dorsey.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Indeed! The compulsory government schools are **not** broken! They are working **exactly** as the progressives of the 1800s, who lobbied so mightily for them, intended!

Even the most minimal study of the history of modern government owned and run schools will show that compulsory government schooling has **always** been about propaganda.

You put a white kid in a school of predominately black enrollment and you have a kid in a meat grinder.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It's likely a meat grinder for black kids in these same schools, too. Just look at the social pathology of black inner cities communities.

In the film, “Waiting for Superman”, a point was strongly made!

Schools are **not** bad because the neighborhoods are bad. Neighborhoods are bad because the schools are bad!!

Again: Neighborhoods are bad because the schools are bad!

Only evil can come from schools built upon a foundation of godlessness, socialist-entitlement, government compulsion, violation of every First Amendment Right and freedom of conscience, and prison-like environments for children whose only crime was being born. All of this is fertile ground for social pathology.

This social pathology is coming soon to white suburbia, too! Why? Because 3 out of 10 white babies born to mom's under thirty are now born out of wed-lock.

After that, standards of behavior will be enforced,
probably not by the governing authorities, either.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I fear that if conservatives ( Christians and Jews) continue to send their children into the godless and socialist-entitlement K-12 schools there will never be any enforcement of standards.

The best that anyone will see will be the occasional lone resister such as was seen at Ruby Ridge.

I am hoping for great things from the privately schooled and home schooled, out of proportion to their numbers.

I hope I am not grasping at straws.

I am hardly qualified to homeschool anyone.

My own education is not the best. My wife’s is better, but we live 40 miles from the kids.

It is a shame but you are correct, the teachersall went to the same schools, however at the Catholic schools here they are not Union members.

That is true! But it was not so when our schools and colleges were founded! They were not state or government schools, when I growing up they were public (our) schools.

I’ll be 78 the 25th of this month, I began the first grade, September 1940. Some teachers opened in prayer, some read from the Psalms, then had prayer.

By the time I reached the 6th grade, there were pictures and plaques [hanging in the halls, classrooms, and the auditorium]

To this day I remember:
“The 23rd Psalm,” “The Lord’s Prayer,” and a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ, given to the school by earlier 8th grades graduates.

So I was blessed to have lived in those times.

The founders of our nation, and our schools and Universities never intended that to change.

We must never forget: “For God sent not His Son into the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” (John 3:17)

And let us also live by: “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged; and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” (Proverbs 16:6)

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;....)Psalm 33:12a)

None of the teachers at the Catholic school where my daughter taught were unionized either. But... **ALL** of them ( except for my daughter) vote for Obama, a man who voted three time to deny even palliative comfort to babies born alive after an abortion.
