In the spring of 1991, Barack Obama, then the president of the Harvard Law Review, spoke at a rally in favor of Professor Derrick Bell and his push for greater diversity on the law school faculty, video footage that has been licensed by the website BuzzFeed from Boston television station WGBH:
The context of the video: Bell was the first black professor to sit on the law school faculty. As David Remnick wrote in his Obama biography “The Bridge,” “Derrick Bell was, in Barack Obama’s time, the most vivid symbol of racial politics at Harvard Law School…In 1962, Bell helped James Meredith win admittance to the University of Mississippi…”
In the 1960s, Bell spent years trying to make the leap from a civil rights attorney to an academic, but he was never deemed good enough for tenure, until after Martin Luther King, Jr., was assassinated and law schools began taking action to change the composition of their all-white faculties. The dean of Harvard Law School promised Bell, “You’ll be the first, but not the last.” But after two years on the faculty, he was still the only African-American, so Bell threatened to resign. As Remnick writes, “For the next two decades he repeatedly threatened to resign in order to get Harvard to hire more African-American men and, eventually, women. ‘My life,’ Bell said, ‘is a living manifestation of taking no shit.’”

The graduation rate of blacks admitted to graduate level professional schools through racial quotas is approximately 12%. The schools somehow never mention that.
He and I are close to the same age, and in 1991 I was busting my arse in a job 60-70 hours per week with a newborn at home. I did not have time to run around playing Bolshevik Revolution with the Campus Commie Clowns.

In all fairness to Mr. Breitbart, this was to be the first in what he hoped to be a series of videos to "vet" Obama. Were he still alive, he'd put it in perspective.
And anyone who expected this to be some sort of blockbuster is naive. There's a big puzzle to put together about Obama's life and you shouldn't expect one video to complete it.
maybe the Breitbart team thought this out and released just enough video to allow the MSM to attempt to glorify O, and then have to eat SH*T when the rest of the vid is public and the public is interested after the MSM enticement....

An interesting bit of trivia or coincidence is that in 1991 an organization based in Chicago called the Institute for the Study of the Koran a/k/a QLI began operation; supposedly the organization's reason for being was to translate the Koran into other languages. QLI was founded by a grad of Egypt's infamous Al Azhar University in Cairo and also the U of Chicago, Ahmad Zaki Hammad, who is also involved with ISNA and NAIT's boards of directors. These two organizations operated as the means of taking over mosques in the US and then radicalizing them.
Also in 1991, Israel had run Hamas leadership to Lebanon and Hamas was in disarray. A guy by the name of Yassin al Kadi [Qassin al Qadi] sought to rebuild Hamas' financing network and rehabilitate the terror group. He came up with $820,000 and without reporting the dealings to the IRS he loaned it to QLI.
QLI was headed by Muhammad Saleh at the time. Saleh, who worked on behalf of the head of Hamas, Musa Marzook, took the money. The money was laundered with the help of some very creative land deals in Chicago involving two companies, Kadi Intl and Golden Marble. Saleh then took the money out of the US to Israel where he turned it over to Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank. Thassets of QLI were not frozen until 1998 so it operated for quite a while.
Qadi/Kadi by the way, also ran an al Qaeda-linked "charity" called the Muwafaq Foundation.
